@@marcos619824 Hi Marcos, some Tesla roofs are very challenging since the roof is loaded with glass and no space to step and stay on …. We need to come up w right tool and method to clean Tesla roofs. JK
You guys are insane to not have a safety harness...
Safety is always number 1! We do an extensive safety inspection on every job. This Tesla Roof is under a 15 degree pitch which we feel comfortable not wearing safety harnesses. In some cases we have experience some tripping/slipping issues with our safety lines/ harnesses on Tesla solar Roofs. We always work as a team and are constantly checking for hazards while we perform cleanings on these roofs. We clean this specific roof semi annually, we have cleaned this roof without stepping foot on it due to light drizzle. But yes safety harnesses should be worn when needed.
@@southbaysolarcleaning4348 tesla needs to incorporate the Ridgeline with a harness clip in area. I've been very upset that that's not a thing... each roof should have a hook for a harness. I can see they will retrofit roofs that exceed a certain degree. It would cost tesla much $200 in labor $40 part. To provide harness support
@@nexusly6720 yes I absolutely agree. We had a customer that we cleaned a Tesla Roof for in LA tell us a tech came back out to check some stuff but couldn't access an area due to no tie off anchor.
@@nexusly6720 There’s an anchor for a rope underneath the tiles near the ridge usually. The tiles pop off and you can attach to it. I’ve seen them do that while working.
