Nice video and very helpful. I did notice on the time lapse that you were actually sitting on the solar panels while installing some of the critter guard. I'm assuming the panels are strong enough to hold your body weight. Are you ever worried about breaking or cracking the panels? Also, do you shut down the power to the solar system while installing the guard?

Most panels can hold your wait. But it’s always good to be careful. Always try to walk on the metal edges and where the rail runs underneath

I'm no professional but I would say never ever put all your body weight on a panel , and second no you don't have to turn the power off

Xero degree nozzle would work well. Where do you connect harnesses on tile roofs, just moved to Rancho Cucamonga and haven't figured it out. Thankis

Hi there, Sorry for the late reply. We don't get on here much. We are actually going to start selling the material and clips. We are in the process of finalizing a deal with a our future wholesale supplier. We are looking to sell all across the US and Canada.

How much would the cost for installation of the guard 29 panels?

We provide quotes only after we do an onsite inspection. There are too many variables that need to be taken into consideration, like safety, accessibility etc.

it all depends, anywhere from $11 - $20 per LF depending on how bad the problem is. The lower end cost is more for new panel installation.

It's irresponsible of Solar Installers who don't offer bird proofing as part of the original installation.
For first time solar purchasers it's very annoying to have to pay for scaffolding, etc, again afterwards to install bird protection later on because the "Professionals" never advised of this need when buying the solar in the first place!
