I have found that it is absolutely necessary for you to have a very strong understanding of the rules and some of your previous lessons from high school as well as middle school in order to fully grasp this. For example, if you didn't fully understand or retain how to factor or find the GCF, adding and multiplying integers, etc., then this will be difficult. What I do is take myself back and find videos on BASIC algebra lessons to refresh myself on some of the things that I have forgotten and had no need to use once I graduated over 2 decades ago. Then I come back to these videos. Now I am at the point where I understand a majority of the lesson, and now all that is left for me to do is to remember the rules and steps and pay close attention to the signs and change them when I'm supposed to. Good luck everyone. And don't give up. I have cried many tears over math, but with a whole lot of prayer and practice, I made it.
I feel immensely privileged to have the ability of furthering my knowledge with your compelling, rigorous videos! Thank you for your service. Sincerely, I hope you are aware that your tremendous effort and talent do NOT go unnoticed.
i swear everytime i search up a math tutorial this guy always pulls through with specific questions like these. Thank you so much for helping my revision sessions!
Thank you so much man. I’m a sophomore in highschool taking Algebra II Honors. I’ve always been excelling in math class. Always. We started learning this about a week ago, and this is the only thing I’ve struggled on. Thanks for helping me out man! Respect.
i think you need to touch up on the other topics! most of what are mentioned here in order to solve some of the terms are distributive property (i'm not quite sure about that one), factoring gcmf, sum/difference of 2 squares, and quadratic trinomials. if you manage to study and get all those, you'll be able to solve these problems in no time :)
Wow I didn’t expect it to be this easy My teacher used the last 2 minutes of class to explain this concept because there wasn’t enough time left, so she basically told everyone to read the section, but reading from the textbook is the most confusing thing ever for me, so I understood absolutely none of it. For the longest time I was just seeing numbers multiplied together that I had absolutely no idea where they came from, but this teaches the principles that can be applied to anything, which is much more helpful Thanks man, I appreciate this a lot :] ...my work is still late though
I STILL DIDN'T GET IT😥 I THINK I CAN DIE NOW (edit/update) y'all i survived my 8th grade without actually learning this. am crying im now done with this shit
i kept denying your teachings because my teacher teaches a different method to this but my teacher's method is so hard to understand so i embraced your method and what a surprise it worked out quite well.
Bruh this guy is sooooo gooooood. 🙏 We like your videos, they are simple and straightforward but still manage to make us pick up important concepts . This is wonderful.
JG, I do love your teaching method, best I can find on TH-cam. But, as a old beginner in this, I just wish you would give more like examples before moving to a problem that takes a different method. You show one example, then follow with an example that cant be worked the same. Do a few that the methods are same the tell us this next one will be a bit different. So defeating to get one problem, and go "oh, I get that" then next one is like "huh?". Then you work it out, the the next one is completely different!
This immensely helped me, though i am studying on these topics a bit early (7th grader here. These are usually taught in 9th grade, atleast in my country) but it was enjoyable and fun to learn. Its like learning another language! The way you've explained is all clear to me now. I've understood everything perfectly and was able to solve these before your explanation (except for the exponential algebraic fractions. Those were the ones i needed a bit help, but now it makes sense) on Thank you very!
MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another great video/lecture on Adding and Subtracting Rational Expressions with different Denominators in Algebra. There is a constant pattern recognition to adding and subtracting rational expressions in Mathematics.
you're probably not listening enough, or aren't completely familiar with the things to do in order to solve it, like solving quadratic trinomials, or even the positive-negative pattern and such. you should touch up on those topics to solve this quickly and efficiently.
i stopped paying attention in my math zooms because this stuff was extremely hard and it would stress me out, watching this video helped me understand way better than my teacher. thank you.

Im literally crying tears while i watch this I think i have something wrong with me. Like why couldn’t have i just been born normal and be able to understand math?
One way to make this video better would be to write out the LCD first and then show how each denominator differs and what is missing is what you multiply by! Seeing those three factors written as the LCD helps students to see (they can compare) what the denominator given needs to be multiplied by.
Thank you very much for this, it really help me a lot. I didn't understand anything in her discussion but still I appreciate it though I didn't understand and she said that we should study or watch math discussions videos from your yt channel so that we could able to answer our quiz maybe next week🤗

wow thanks i already understand it now because i know how to factor so its easy because people forget factoring like perfect trinomial, common monomial, etc. like that
On the first question I believe it could be simplified more. Can't you just multiply both of the denominators (x) and (x^2) and then multiply the left by x^2 and the right by x. It would be like cross multiplying. Then it could be 5x^2 + 3x..or would not make it less simplified?
My teacher didn't even start off easy. He asked us if we knew how to add fractions and we said no. He went on and basically said good luck. Now I have homework due tomorrow with no idea on how to do this
I have a test tomorrow and im worried! I have a 97.43% in my algebra class and this is the only thing ive had trouble with and for some reason its not clicking with me on half the problems i do. I dont want to screw up my good grade so im glad i found this!!
