I'm studying GCSE maths again as an adult and I wish I'd had a teacher like you when I was younger. You are extremely good at what you do and it is clear that you enjoy it.
I was always beaten by my MATHS teachers, barely used to pass the math exams and many times I failed to top the class because of my pass marks in Maths (while getting over 90-95 in every other subjects) which used to be around 40-50/100. Now when am listening to u, I feel like this is just simple stuff, but it all lies with the person who is explaining. Am trying to let go of the Math phobia that is accumulated within me. I have chosen Humanities in class 11 & 12 and now I've completed my BA, which I've taken because there is no maths and topped in all of them. Now for every competitive exam or to do my PhD or to become a professional Urban planner, you need MATH, and thus I realised in life Math can not be avoided. Maths is haunting me but I feel little couyrgaeous to face those challenges only after am watching your videos and your lucid explanation. No exaggeration but I'd have gotten gold medals had I had a personal Math teacher like you. Thank you :) Ma'am
I'm in year 9 and have been studying algebraic fractions lately but found subtracting the most challenging of all. However, after watching your video I am finally able to understand how to work the equations out. Your step-by-step explaining made it much clearer and easier for me to learn - thank you so much!!
i have a 2 hour long maths exam tomorrow, and i didn't bother to study weeks before cuz i knew that the maths prof would come for the rescue a day before !!
Whoah! I was struggling with this concept in class yet you explained it so well and i think i got the hang of it! Maybe my eight grade portions aren't so bad after all now that i've found this video.
Wow! I learnt alot, you make learning easy. I abandoned this subject thinking it was impossible for me. Now i see some that teach are not called for that. Thank you Ma'am
you are really one in a million coz you are helping us to the extent that we cant even brink an eye whn youare teaching. May God grant you your desires
So that part after you subtract the 27x and -8x, the -27 and -48 supposed to be minus 'coz 48 has a negative sign, but you plus those two numbers. So why is that?
Hello am new here thank you so much for the mathematics teaching without collecting money from me I never knew math's is this sweet Hope to get more mathematics teaching because I want to be great in maths Thanks so much God bless you 💞 I wish I meet u since 💖
Thanks for the great video. How would you deal with an integer in a algebraic fraction problem? For example, 5 + 1/x + 1/y I understand that the fractions with the variables would become x/xy and y/xy, and my logic would suggest converting the integer to an improper fraction 5/1 and then times numerator and denominator by xy. However, the answer to the problem suggests only the denominator should be multiplied by xy and I can't understand why, or find any explanation anywhere. Thanks again!
She is much better than the teachers on school ,maths is actually my favorite subject but it beats me up sometimes but I understand it better when I watch your vids
Bonjour de mon prof Maths , c´est vrai j´ai deja decidons pour ameliorer me meme sur le cours mathematique dans tout les facons avec ce prof et les autres profs comme a sa., bien sure c´est mon combatts merci infiniment.
Thanks for the explanation I was copying the questions and answering them and I got every question right except for one and speaking of algebraic fractions I’ve got a test on algebraic fractions so hopefully I could get an a in my test

Looks good to me! 😊 If you have to add those three terms together then... 5xy/xy + y/xy + x/xy ...
@@TheMathsProf thanks so much for this. Looks like there's an error in the textbook I have, as it shows the answer as 5+X+Y / XY.
