Learn to Play: Dark Souls The Card Game Forgotten Paths Exp

In this video I will be looking at the newest expansion to Dark Souls the card game. I will show you what comes in the box and cover all the new rules introduced in the expansion. I will also play through an encounter to show you how the new expansion works.

Great video man 😍 I have a question. If i defend an attack and then another enemy attacks me again,can I defend myself again ? ( if I have the cards )

I believe so you are allowed to defend once for each attack.

two questions:
1.after finishing an encounter, do the players need to move the souls that dropped from the enemies in this encounter from the loot pile to the inventory? or just keep them together with the encounter's reward in the loot pile?
2.
if there is a player between the attacking player and the enemy, can the attacking player still attack that enemy? Since i read in the manual there should be NOBODY between the attacking one and the emeny.

1- you move loot pile to inventory only when resting the bonfire (by choice. when you fail an encounter you lose the lootpile instead)
2-no players cannot attack from behind other players unless it's a ranged attack. however they can move after attacking to leave space for their teammates to attack

@@hosykamikaze3626 1- Whenever you complete a NEW encounter, you move the loot pile to inventory as well. So, for instance, if you have souls/treasures in the loot pile after encounter #1, then complete encounter #2, move loot pile from encounter #1 to inventory, and put souls/treasures from encounter #2 to loot pile.

very late to the party but is it possible to play mix cards from different expansions? Is it possible to play the maps from the core game and the expansions at the same time? I guess it's not designed to do so, but will it be balanced if done? like say if you have 3 maps, each has 3-5 normal encounters + 2 bosses that yould mean proceeding to another boss from another map after the certain map is completed. It would require to add all the lives (or bonfire visits) for each expansion. But all of this boils down to my first question really - if you can mix all the cards from all expansions and still have a balanced play by the rules, the rest is just a formality.

Thanks for watching and for the question. I am not sure if you can have multiple maps going at the same time, but it would be cool to try it out and see how things go. I think the biggest thing would be balancing out your characters so they don't get over powered and just smash the other bosses as they get to them if you have a cap on their builds I think this could work;) Let me know if you try it and how it goes.

@learn to play games : excuse me bro,this boardgame can play for solo player?,because my country siantar north sumatra indonesia is not interested play this game because ancient mind or oldman place,then i not have choice play alone,when this board game can play alone like yugioh duel monster dice game(bonus from yugioh manga gen 1 vol 3) like snake ladders... is really awesome for me,gonna buy for sure, tomorrow gonna study your video to understand this awesome game,thank you

@@LearntoPlayGames btw bro,this board game forgotten patch expansion have hero knight like dark souls 1 ps3?,herald,assassin? & the boss high lord wolnir with 2 long hand attack hero random?,or dark souls card game board game only?,this forgotten patch is dark souls 3? & dark souls card game is the first darksoul?,because very hard to find dark soul all card in wiki,because i'm confused to buy dark soul card game vs forgotten patch exp & i know forgotten gonna get thief & pyromancer,more item,weapon,prize,more boss like twin bell gargoyle,is cool too
