Yess, I literally just opened a Neo account a few days ago and I’m loving how organized it is! The only issue for me is how long it takes a deposit from the big banks to get into my Neo account😩
Right!!! So organized. I find that if you set up a recurring pre-authorized transfer it will transfer on the day you want it to as it triggers the transfer in advance. Have you tried that?
Another way to do that is instant is to send a “e-transfer request” to the other banks. Once you accept it, the money is automatically in your account!
Could you please explain why you have several different bank accounts? Also, a video on your "pay day" routine with all your different bank accounts would be amazing!
Yes! Do you mean why do I have different banks (Neo, EQ & Simplii)? or why do I have different bank accounts within one bank?
I have different banks because I like to keep my savings in a different account than my main spending account to stop me from spending it. Out of sight, out of mind. I also think it's helpful to have multiple banks in case one is having technical difficulties.
I have different bank accounts within the same bank to have buckets for my spending so I can visualize how much I have saved towards each goal.
Lastly, that is a great video idea! I'll work on this :)
Your link says the money account we only get $10 for signing up. Is that normal? Also I remember when talking to the folks at Neo Financial, they said we needed some sort of code from the person referring us to get the promo. Is that true and do you have a code I can use?
EDIT: Forgot to add, I also remember hearing about something regarding if we deposit $50 into the Neo account, we get additional money. Do you have any idea about that and how it works?
The code is embedded in the link! I think they’ve reduced it to $10 now. I don’t think depositing $50 gets you extra money, once you deposit the $50 you qualify for the initial bonus
