What are some money mistakes that you have made? Let me know!💫
Not double checking my accountant work and it was the biggest mistake of my life but also the most informative
my money mistakes - 1) not negotiating pay (i blame my school's coop program who told us never to lol), 2) overspending on food delivery apps and making excuses for my spending 3) investing in redundant/overlapping ETFs (which I haven't completely fixed yet lol)
Not negotiating my pay is one of mine too omg 🫠🫠
Oop I love that you acknowledge your fault in the delivery apps I’m guilty of that too.
I feel you on the redundant ETFs. I just adjusted my portfolio to get rid of a lot of overlapping ETFs!
I think young investors make that first mistake of abandoning fundamentals and investing based off speculations and vibes. I am learning my mistake after loosing so much money on Jumia stock cause I was pro invest in an African based company.
It’s good you learned that lesson early on 😭 I think everyone should make a mistake early on to help them see that following the fundamentals is key.
Great video! I've made the mistake of investing in hype too..
We all f’d up 😂
On #4, The beautiful thing is you can always refile and update your taxes back about 10 seasons.
Thankfully 😊😊
I can relate on not re-verifying your accountant’s work 😅
Regrets 😭😭
When I tell you the biggest regret of my life.
Mistake #4 is so real cos I don't like numbers and I would rather have someone do my taxes. Maybe I need to go re-evaluate mine like this ooo chai!😭
Please ooo go double check their work 😭
Question Reni: considering all the costs you’ve incurred in purchasing your house (closing, interest, maintenance, etc) as well as costs you incur when you sell (legal, agency, capital gains tax, etc) and also accounting for time value of money, what do you think your investment position would be if you sold your house today?
I actually have to do the math 😅 maybe this could be a video that I do! I’ll add it to my list.
can you recommend a credible investment blog?
The motley fool is a good one
Looking back now, what would you have invested instead?
ETFs that track the S&P500! Bank stocks, some other tech stocks.
If wishing ona star was real, the mny things i would do differently.
If only 😭😭😭
