If I hadn’t just leased a car this year I would look at this in Avenir trim! Maybe next time after a couple model years to work out the kinks.
It's a good first effort but never a bad idea to wait a few years into a model's run to purchase!
I hate the no timing chain. Maintaining this will be expensive in the long run
That's a fair point. Replacing the belt every 40,000 miles is a bit of a turnoff.
@VisionQuestAuto Why do you say 40,000 miles? Manufacturer's recommendation is 150,000 miles.
@@pebble4713 I believe Buick's timing belt is 40k-60k recommendation based on the model.
@VisionQuestAuto I'm gonna guess you didn't read page 259 of the Owner's Manual, which states to replace the timing belt at 150,000 miles or 15 years, whichever comes first.
Thanks for the clarification. I saw a GM maintenance schedule that differed.

Yeah that could be added in the future. It is a miss if you're in a region with snow.
