I have a black 16V scirocco just like yours. Man lemme tell you, such a great daily driver rain or shine. Always get compliments at least once a week, its fun to just always have the capability to take the back roads & enjoy it in the car. Im also jealous that you have that nice red pin stripe. They tooks my white stripe off after i got the car repainted 😢
I look forward to getting it up and running. I’d feel bad driving this thing in the rain because the underside is so clean. I also need to figure something out with the seat so I can fit more comfortably in the car without my head in the sunroof lol
@@petergearing4796 most of this car is original from the 80s and has well over 200,000 miles on it. The chassis itself is pretty clean but the car has been sitting for a very long time. Very happy with how it turned out

Wow those old shocks must have been toast. Once finished your Sirocco sat more like mine did. Must feel better to drive.
