    You nailed the pros and cons of every robot vac in a easy way so anyone can understand. I think this format is really great. Thanks for explaining how to pick which one

    One more Note: I have found that the Shark robot needs more frequent cleaning of it's filters at the beginning of it's use, as it catches up with years of fine dust left behind by previous vacuums and neglect. The Shark is so effective at doing so...the fine dust builds up quickly in the filters....As time goes on this fine dust build up will slow down. I use a small paint brush to sweep the filters clean and clean the bin itself....The foam filter in the dust bin collector can be washed and reused....I have 2 and always one at the ready while the other dries....I find it amazing that even after 8 months of use, it still finds dust and debris and one would not think so, as my carpets and floor look spick and span.....with little traffic

    Could you make a direct comparison between the S9 Plus and the J9 Plus? I have the 980 and since I only have carpet the S9 Plus actually still seems to be peak iRobot despite its age!

      @TheFrenchGlow  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! Between the irobots for carpet, the s9 plus is the best bet imho but if you have lots of obstacles on the floor, the j9 plus is the more efficient machine since it will get stuck less.

    Can I just say this is by far the best in depth video on Robot vacs I've seen currently looking to buy one my self and there's a lot of targeted Promo Videos out there, Your video is No bull, straight to the point, Great work ! love it !

    I just replaced my i3 with a Shark Matrix and it much quieter. It also doesn't get stuck like my i3 did. The i3 was constantly getting wedged under things.

    My house its about 3000 square feet and 90 % hard wood floors. What should I look for in a robot vacuums.

    What about a two story house, with step down to living room and a small step down to sunroom? 2500 sq ft.
    Do you have a video addressing mop/vac robots?

      Hi Joan, nothing yet for step downs yet. It's coming but maybe 5 years away from reaching the home

    I own 3 different robots, all with Lidar and auto dumping... a iHome Nova ihrv6 and a Ecovacs Deebot, and while they too do a great job too... the Shark Ai Pro is by far my favorite machine thus far...It does an amazing job with fur baby pet hair..and I really like the bag-less feature..I like the bag-less feature much more than the bag units..one less expense of operation...You can actually see what it picks up when you go to empty the base unit...and pick up... it does !!...I just bought my second Shark. They are easy to clean and maintain...mapping is super fast...I just wish the Shark map was as detailed as my other 2 Machines, which both give me exact details on where they have been and they do so in real time too ....That would be my only complaint about the Shark if I were to seriously have one.... Wifi connecting is super easy compared to other brands... I got into the robo vacs some 8 months ago...I always thought them to be just a novelty gizmo thingy...but now I wonder how I lived so long without them...I've not had to break out my upright Kirby since and my carpets and floors are impeccable...All my machines are on a schedule and need little to no tending ever ...these machines are incredible and have been indispensable time savers to me ....they are true and effective machines....LIDAR is a must and don't settle for less...My lidar machines have NEVER gotten stuck and I blame Lidar for that :) ....NOTE: I have never used the mopping feature on any of my machines, so I cannot speak to it's effectiveness. Thanks for your review French Glow :)

      thank you for sharing! shark's are one of the easiest to use. LIDAR is the best for accurate mapping. It should be mandatory for all robovacs over $300 to come with them.

    God I really hope iRobot update and keep the S9s form and function, as i absolutely love mine. I tried a new J9+ and returned it the same day. Too clunky and not a fan of the round design and lacklustre cleaning performance.

    • @TheFrenchGlow
      @TheFrenchGlow  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I hope so too! The S9 was iRobot best robovac imho so I am confused with you that no new s9 is out. If they do release one, I hope they don't call it iRobot ULTRA.

    Sharks are trash I’ve had few mapping is horrible they throw error codes left snd right I’ve had ton roombas imo hands down best but I can’t comment on roborock

      Hi! Reliability is Sharks biggest weakness. Their customer service has been improving with their improved warranties ONLY on certain products like the detect pro but not on other. Roborock customer service is worse than shark with iRobot having the best customer service out of the 3.
