Thank you for watching👀 This time we are introducing SUICA, so we are not sure about PASMO. We apologize for the inconvenience‼ I am not sure about pasmo, but I think it can be used in the same way👍
Thank you for watching😁 Currently, you cannot purchase regular SUICA, but you can purchase welcomesuica‼ You can purchase it at Tokyo International Airport and Narita International Airport, so please purchase it there when you come to Japan👍
I ordered my Sucia card before the trip (on the same site where i bought my JRPass) preloaded with cash. This way i don't have to deal with a ticket machine while tired from a long flight an can head streight for the train.
help me understand, but isn't there a shortage of Suica card, so they are temporary no longer issuing any new card? It has been this way I think almost a year ago, and there isn't new of when it will become available anytime soon. Unless I'm wrong. So I'm not sure what's the purpose of this recent video guide?
Thank you for watching👀 Although the product is still in short supply, Currently, only Welcome Suica and Suica for children under 12 years old can be purchased at the airport. The method of charging is the same, so we hope you will find this information useful😀 We will let you know when it becomes available for purchase at the station‼
wait I'm confused.. SUICA card is available to buy again? I thought they said it was already not available and recommended a different card called TOICA?
Thank you for watching👀 Currently, only Welcome Suica can be purchased at the airport. This is an introduction of SUICA, not TOICA‼ The recharging method is the same for Welcome Suica, so we hope you will find this information useful😄
@@JAPANTRAVEL-cc7mz oh, so the normal suica card is available again, it was out for a few months.. im not asking about welcome suica :) and i know it is not about toica
Thank you for watching👀 Welcome Suica is currently only available at airports. Please purchase at the special ticket vending machine at the airport station‼ Once the shortage of semiconductors is resolved, it will be possible to purchase tickets outside of airports as well. In that case, you can also purchase them at the Japan Travel Center at Tokyo Station😁
Does this work in rural areas? If I go to Japan I will focus on trips on rural railways; there are so many beautiful lines as you can see on TH-cam. I thought of a JR pass.
Thank you for watching👀 You can use Suica at any station that accepts it, even in rural areas‼ If you are not able to use it, please ask the station staff for instructions😁
Thank you for the video. I have a question - are there places where you can use the normal SUICA card, but not the mobile phone one? Can I pay with the SUICA from my iPhone at vending machines for instance?
no, you can use it anywhere fortunately. But, a little caveat, you can also charge your mobile suica in some ticket machines that provide an outside card placement by placing your phone (not the insert card type).
Thank you for watching👀 You can use it anywhere you take the train😁 To answer your question, you can also pay at vending machines‼ However, there are some vending machines that accept e-money and some that do not, so please be careful when making your purchase👍
On our recent trip to Japan, my wife and I used our mobile IC card (ICOCA) app a lot, including ticket machines at ramen joints. We didn't even have to turn on our phones for the card reader to scan our app.
Thank you for watching👀 Only mobile suica is available for recharging with kujilet. Please be careful when making your purchase😁 If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!👍
@@IhsanIbrahim Thank you for watching👀 You are familiar with Japanese SUICA‼ Thank you for answering our questions! Thank you very much for answering our questions‼
Nice video, the SUICA cards are somewhat available again but the availability varies day to day... Luckily I already have a standard physical SUICA card... I have read that one can "inscribe" or register a blank standard SUICA card by imprinting his own name and register: this way one loses the chance to give it back and be refunded the 500 yen deposit, but, on the other hand the card validity is unlimited and, should it be lost, it could be re-issued with a small fee, finding into it the amount it had at the moment of loss... Do You know if it is possible to register that already owned "standard card" using the machines or asking to employees on JR dedicated offices? I'd like to make my "standard SUICA" become a "My SUICA"...
Thank you for watching👀 I see that you have a SUICA card without a name😁 It is possible to change a card with no name to a card with a name‼ You will need to ask a station attendant at a station with a multi-function ticket machine or visit a Midori-no-Madoguchi (ticket counter)‼ Please try it when you come to Japan👍
Sales of registered Suica cards will resume on September 1st!
Check at stations when you visit Japan!

Just one correction... the requirement to change the iPhone region to Japan was removed in 2022. You can keep the phone in it's original region.

Thank you also for pointing out the problem‼

Oh deez panty shots
Can you use the Welcome Suica on the metro and JR lines? I’m a little confused, and will be arriving soon to Japan. Thank you!
Thank you for watching👀
It is available on the subway and JR lines😁
Enjoy your trip to Japan👍
Where online can I purchase a Suica or Pasmo card before going to Japan? Link please. Thanks.
Thank you for watching😀
Please check the JR East website for information on purchasing before you go‼
So confused. Will be arriving at Haneda at 12:10am so I cannot buy the welcome suica anymore? Or is there a vending machine that sells them?
Thank you for watching😄
You can purchase our welcomesuica at the airport, please check with your local information center👍
You mentioned if you buy a Suica in Tokyo, you can also use that card in Osaka. Is it the same for the Pasmo passport? Thanks.

Hello, for the suica on iPhone, how to get the money back ?
Thanks

Please refer to JR's website for the refund method for Mobile Suica‼
It seems that refunds can be made, so please check there😁
In fact, load up your mobile IC cards with yens because the yen is getting stronger by the day. I did.
