This gave me hope to use my iPhone again, the "Keep Original" options is what fixed it for me, currently the easiest way for windows users to import is to use the Windows 10 "Photos" app and import from device. This would usually always fail, but when I changed from Automatic to Keep Original, all of my imports, large or small, went flawlessly thank you so much for making this video

Once the transfer is done from iphoto to mac, if I were to delete them from the iphone, I should still be able to access those photos from my mac, right since they are not part of icloud storage? 2. Can i transfer photo folders that i have on iphone and this system of recognizing portraits, map where photos were taken etc. are still availiable when photos are transfferd to Macbook / external disk?
Actually a legend. This method also helped me isolate corrupted video files that were the REAL reason holding up my import. After I found these 2 I could import normally on photos.

Apple is easy to use they said ... it's very intuitive they said ... I recorded some training clips and had 4k on and iCloud completely freezes with 4K Videos and doesn't do anything, so I have to watch tutorials by some Indian dudes who explain this stuff ... because it's so intuitive and simply easy to use 🤓 (after trying anything it's still stuck in sync mode and nothing happens)

If I first download photos from the phone, and then from Icloud, is there a way to not download pictures from Icloud that I have already have downloaded from the phone?
If I delete my video off my phone I dont want it to delete off my Mac. Or the other way round.. I dont want to delete a video off my computer and it also deletes off my phone. How do I stop this from happening.

Sometimes i get an error message on image capture and I’m not able to export from my iphone to imac. So i end up editing it on my phone which I don’t like because phone video editors don’t export the best quality,and they’re not so good I’ve bought a couple and most of them suck. I’m desperate

I thought it was a third-party app, and almost about to give up your video. then I search for the app out of my curiosity and then BOMM! it's right there. Awesome thanks, I have a quick question, My iPhone was stolen last week and right before I made a Back up through iTunes but had it stored to an external hard drive, My new iPhone has half the space the old one did and I already have it set up but would like to know if it is possible to some get the photos at least from that older stored data base with out having to restore my new iPhone from the older data base? Firstly because not everything I had there will even fit in my new phone, but also I do not want everything that was on the older iPhone, just want to try and save the pictures if that makes sense, I tried digging into the date base but all the files have a weird extension only and cannot be reviewed ... it worked!! if the phone doesn't appear, just disconnect and reconnect and click allow access on your phone.
If I delete my video off my phone I dont want it to delete off my Mac. Or the other way round.. I dont want to delete a video off my computer and it also deletes off my phone. How do I stop this from happening.
