  • The first thing we will examine in our study of adaptive immunity is T and B cell development. How do these cells establish such an incredibly variety of surface receptors with which to recognize so many millions of potential antigens? This process is called V(D)J recombination. Let's see how it works!

Well, Hello Dr. Dave! I happened upon your channel when I perusing "flat earth" content…. A dear friend of mine admitted to believing this kooky idea. SO, randomly, I landed on Andrew Gold's channel. You were present and working hard to get a word in edge wise, debunking said idea. I kept watching because I realized that you were actually a smarty pants, hence I subscribed to your channel. Just wanted to say hello and will systematically watch your content. So nice to see there are Some intelligent individuals in this world.
Be well, Be safe. And Thank you!😅

Hey Dave, I am always amazed by the quality of your work.
You may have already tackled the subject, but I think it would be helpful to many if you addressed some of the pseudoscientific cancer treatments. When a loved one gets cancer, the act of just trying to navigate the medical/insurance industry can be overwhelming.
I was lucky that I could be pointed in the right direction by a High School friend who became a PhD Professor and cancer researcher at The University of Pennsylvania… the late
    Dr. Stephen Tuttle.
Many of us are aware that cancer is not one disease but many.
It could be a series of videos and could be helpful to many.

What does it say about todays viewing and real world societies that a channel that has as its priority intent, the drive to be an educational channel explaining nuanced and detailed subject like this video ... being financially supported by the inflammatory debunk videos. One glance at view count between both types of videos here, makes it abundantly clear that Prof Dave has realized that in order to do the work he wants to do ... he has to do the material that attracts the general higher view count as the financial lifeline for the channel.
That says so much about ... stuff, I dont even know where to begin.

Hi Dave.I’m wonder when will you respond to the content on channel named “Long Story Short “.At the first glance, those videos seem to be very interesting critical thinking and harmless, but after watching only a few of them,I found the whole channel is misleading and try to let people believe Intelligent Design instead of Evolution. Some argument in the video is easy to tell they’re misleading but others are really difficult to argue. So hope you can make a video about it.Thank you very much for the content.

Nah, Evil Prof. Dave would be like: “This is why Christianity is true, and America was founded upon by Christianity.” That way he could make as much money as he could ever want. Your flat Earth believing version would be the “Dumb/brain damaged Prof. Dave.”
