I absolutely adore Dan’s answer to those people who were offended by his rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” He is awesome and absolutely hates the hypocrisy shown by some of his “so called fans” He is definitely a man of integrity and it’s wonderful to see that he’s not afraid to speak his mind. : )

I had only been watching Dan for about two weeks, after "Amazing Grace" was posted on April 7, 2023, and I had already seen a few of his non-music videos that I loved, as well as a few other of the music videos, but there really was no way that I could see him making a TRUE apology. I always listen to this speech by Dan Vasc with great pleasure. In the background, the song "Warriors" by FREEDOM CALL plays. By the way, he also covered that song. For his interpretation of the Star-Spangled Banner, he received by far the most dislikes he has ever gotten for a song, which, if I think about it, he can be proud of.

Dan is right imo. But it sometimes surprises me how often the same people who are enthusiastic about Dan's video here can be totally intolerant when someone other than Dan - for example reactors or other artists - also claim this principle for themselves. And most of these people don't even notice they have this double standard. 🙃
