In fact, in the 2009 air show, one of our front windows shatterd during a flight. My dad went to complain, (seems like other people had the same issue) and the organizers compensated everyone by paying for repairs. We even got that smart glass that keeps temperature in or out. pretty nice stuff.

Always excuses!!! The surprise of the race was undoudently the plane.The f1 performane is awesome. 0 to160km/h in 4 sec and 0 to 300km/h in about 12 sec!!! So everyone expected the f1 to destroy the plane in drag race of only 600m or 900m.But even the great Shummi didnt expected that an almost 15tone jet could performe almost like his car in the first 600 metres!!! Eurofigher typhoon RESPECT....
A better comparison would have had the Ferrari on dry weather tires and dry tarmac. Not having to run traction control on a wet road. But it was still fun to watch and at the very end all the people were crowded around the Ferrari, not the plane.
ur right, a legitimaterace would be to have the plane already in the air when the Ferrari starts. The thing is, it takes a while for it to take off and land.

Non proprio....con il poco grip dell'asfalto l'EFA non poteva dare tutta potenza a freni tirati prima di avere il passaggio dal rosso al verde. Sotto il 90% di motore non poteva dare il post bruciatore, quindi l'EFA scattava con una potenza ridotta proprio per il fondo bagnato. La cosa quindi era piuttosto alla pari per i due contendenti, entrambi penalizzati da meteo
Planes aren't that fast on ground acceleration, because the turbines have to be spooled up if I am not mistaken. In cars, the rpm's climb very quickly do to the nature of the engine assembly. Hint : "I wouldn't be surprised if the F1 team had found out the speed the eurofighter could go in 1 mile. Then, proceeded to change gearings so that the car accelerated liek a bullet but its top speed was like 120mph or something." You can't do that with a plane haha.

è una cazzata .. perchè la ferrari lavora in deportanza e mantiene la velocità asspluta parallela alla strada mentre l'aereo lavora in portanza ed ha la velocita assoluta tangente alla traiettoria dell'aereo stesso , ha una componente di velocità parallela alla strada e una verticale.

grazie al cazzo, (se non conosci i termini tecnici dello strumento per partire da una portaerei stai zitto), ma partire con la catapulta non ha paragoni. Giustamente un motore a turbina non è reattiva come un motore a pistoni, ma puoi avviare a questo problema portano su di giri la turbina e poi rilasci i freni. Qulacosa mi dice che sei antiferrarista

Yes it is. Sure, you might as well say: "Its not fair! If it was a around the world race, the Typhoon would be faster!" Sure it would! But this race isnt around the world! And, the Typhoon's performance isnt touched one bit by the water on the strip, but the F1, it almost cuts off 20% of its performance. If it where to be in the air as well, at least give the F1 a dry track.
