I've had my share of slumps for sure!!! Whenever I get distracted by life, I tend to lose focus on using my planners. But I also take breaks from my planners sometimes and it helps me to get back on track. Thanks for this insightful video, great tips!!
That's why I love my personal-planner notebooks and diary/planner. I used to get bored but now I have the front and back covers personalised as the last letter my mum wrote to me, I can see me never wanting anything else. I still love buying notebooks though, even if I don't have a purpose for them.
It's a lovely idea to commemorate your mum's last letter on the covers. I think that buying notebooks and imagining all the potential uses is part of the fun, even if we don't have an actual use in mind :)
This was great - I love all the thoughts and tips you gave! I do agree with adding a new cover to make the notebook feel "new" again - sometimes a cover can just lose its appeal.
I stumbled onto this video by pure chance of what was in the suggested list and I very glad that I did. You have some interesting and sensible things to say about planning and I think it will be a video that I will be coming back to for a refresher every now and again. Thank you.
Love your analytical approach :-) In other videos too, you just express all the things that I sometimes don't like to admit to myself. It's sort of like planning therapy :-)
Thank you so much!! That's how I think of it - planning therapy :) I love to share my planner ramblings with other like-minded people, so I'm delighted that you can relate and don't think I'm completely mad lol! :)
could you do a list of vegan planner prompts, quotes, inspirations ? I draw a lot in my planner/ notebook, (mostly animals) but it would be nice to have new ideas. Thanx for all your videos, you've helped me a lot.
Haha, I know it looks like that, but in fact my main planners (work and personal) have been the same for more than a year, and I've been using the next most important ones (daily and home) since July and August respectively. I like trying out new planners - that's part of the fun! - but a lot of the slumps I described in the video happened more than a year ago, and others didn't lead to giving up on the planner in question, just to using it in a different way. :)
ah, glad to hear you're able to commit to the important ones ;-) i guess the take-away of your video is, if you're in a slump, buy a new planner! :-D (love your videos BTW!!!)
Thanks so much; I'm really delighted you enjoy the videos :) Yes, odd as it may seem, I can't stand switching one of my 'important' planners mid-year. But I do like to experiment with the less important ones :)
