I ordered some of these for my girl the other day. I don't know the first thing about nail polish or the steps involved but I got her 12 shades, 6 from Beetle and 6 from Makartt, top/clear coat, & the UV lamp. If her nails turn out like yours, then I feel pretty confident that she will like it...fingers crossed.

As our nail shops are closed down once again I think I am going to order the kit . Your tutorial makes it seem fairly easy. I think the key for a novice is using light neutral colors so the mistakes dont show up as much . Good job!

@@davanmurray4644 yes your right I noticed that as well even when using gloves when cleaning the house it still chipped some, but I found it fun and relaxing to be able to do my own gel nails at home.

Vera Silva hi Vera! So i have a video on this on my page! I use a nail polish that removes it or you can soak a cotton ball with acetone and place it on your nail and cover it with aluminum foil. Hope this helps !

Do you know if you can use tips with gel polish instead? Like no acrylic and just gel
isabella pitkin I’m a little confused with your question. Gel polish is applied like regular nail polish just that you have to cure it under a uv lamp. I applied it in this video with no tips and with no acrylic. With tips you need some kind of agent to help it stick to your nail and gel polish will not do that, gel polish is only for color and finishing purposes. I hope i was able to answer your question 😫

Have you tried using the led light with other gel polishes? If so does it work with curing the polish
Melissa Magaña hi ! Actually yes it works well with any gel polish! But the time that you leave your hand may vary. I like to lightly touch them to see if it still feels sticky that’s how i know they have cured. So yes it works well with other polish brands :)
Is this work with essence gel nail polish??
it works with any nail polish as long as you are able to cure it under the light.
I have this same set which I like. I'm just not sure why it leaves my natural nails a yellowish stain
Trishy Trish oh no does it ?! It might be the base coat that might be leaving your nails that way. You might want to get a better one.
how do you know when its done curing?
JustJxcelyn it won’t be as sticky anymore after a min or so you should be fine make sure you wipe with alcohol to remove the rest of the stickiness :)

Does this polish have an odor? Im kind of sensitive to smells
A A it’s not odorless but it’s definitely not a smell that strong. I feel like you can really smell it if you put your nose really close to it . What has the strongest smell which isn’t too bad either is the base and the top coat. Definitely nothing like regular polish. I hope this helps :)

it last anywhere from a week and a half to longer, it just depends on how you take care of it.
Omg nooooo! Your poor nails! Don’t file back and forth with an Emory board nail file, it can cause splitting. Use a glass nail file and go from one direction towards the centre of your nail.
