Description______
In this video i'm showing how to make a Bass booster circuit for any amplifier with bass frequency control.
It is well known as lowpass filter circuit.
I have used the dual operational amplifier NE5532P IC, even you can use popular JRC4558 IC, But the NE5532P is better in terms of gain and bass quality.
It provides very High quality bass without High tunes, only bass and bass frequency & bass volume can be adjusted by the given potentiometers.
Parts Required_____
NE5532P ic,
6x / 10K Resistors,
2x / 33K Resistors,
1K, 2.2K, 100R Resistors,
10-100k Potentiometers (47K will be better)
220uf, 100uf, 2.2uf / 25-63v capacitors,
2x / 47nf, 1uf Ceramic Capacitors,
2.5mm pitch Pin Headers,
LED, 1N4007 Diode

I suggest you also do a video on boosted high pass filter for tweeter speakers and band pass filter for mid speakers. I think this will make a complete best sounding system.

Is it possible to replace the 22k Resistor across pin 2 and 7 with a variable Resistor to act as a bass gain control.
Yes absolutely you can use, and as per my experiments i found 22k perfect.
Brother I want to know the frequency range of this low pass filter .

How come I can still hear the tune with the frequencies higher than the bass notes coming through, isn't it the job of the low pass filter to cut out those frequencies completely leaving only the low notes no?
Yes you can i used 47nf ceramic 2 capacitors, use 100nf instead

Still there's quite fair essence of mid in subwoofer, I know it can't be made zero but there are ways to make it bare minimum.

You can still minimise high tunes, i have used 2x 47nf ceramic capacitor you can use to 100nf capacitor for further reduction of high tunes
Your project is cool. What changes should I make on this circuit to make a duplicate of this but achieve a high pass filter. I'll really appreciate your info.
Just need only one change use 100nf capacitors instead of 47nf to get bass with more voice reduction.

Yes, it gives deep bass, and no voice overall, zero voice can be achieved by simply replacing 2x 47nf ceramic capacitors with 100nf

Superb I must say. But there's one board which is badly missing in the market, if you could make one? Can you make a dual channel low pass filter? Mono channel subwoofer output is pretty common, but what about low pass filter with dual channel/stereo output? Please make one.
Yes absolutely can be made by using same diagram, but what about Potentiometers, should that be seperate for each channel, or dual Potentiometers can be used
@@CreativeTechos that purely depends upon the detailing the maker is willing to do to make their board unique 😊 I would have liked the frequency potentiometer to be common for both the channels but separate potentiometers for individual channel volume. By this, both the subs would run on same frequency avoiding the distortion/improper sound if the same kept on different frequencies. What do you think?
Yes, it will be good idea to use dual pot fore frequency and seperate for bass volumes, I'll make the circuit and will upload video ASAP
