- While Matt was at the Compound, we recorded a little "Chat Session." And no, it was not a mistake at the beginning; rather than edit out the first part, we just left it in. It's not like we have a script or something anyway. :-)

I know a lot of people write off Demolition Ranch as more of a corny comedy vlog than gun content, but he does a great job reaching out to the younger audience. A lot of the firearm media has a hard time appealing to the “hip youts”, but Matt does a good job 👍. We need this if we are going to preserve the second amendment, especially with so much of the media trying to steer the next generation away from our American values.

Yes LWC is doing a good job too! Unfortunately he wasn’t as popular when I was growing up. He started getting more popular when I was in college. It can be tough being young and trying to shoot when your parents aren’t into shooting. One thing that helped me was pushing my dad to join a local shooting club with me. If you can make it into something you and him or your mom can do together, they may get into shooting too! 👍
You're spot on about that, I'm a millennial and a Brit whos never touched a gun in his life but as a guy I've always been interested in things like cars and guns and I hold a deep amount of love and respect for the USA and the freedoms you hold deer.
DemoRanch is a fun but also educational way to learn about guns, Matt is a stand up guy, and through him and my search for more gun content on TH-cam I found Hickok.
I hope more people find DemoRanch and Hickok etc, they are instrumental in helping more people realize how important it is to preserve the 2A.

You don't just show off cool boom makers, you teach the very important history of every firearm you've shown on here and teach how important safety is above everything else. Thank you for what you do. Life is good.
Watching your videos is the biggest reason I bought my Sig Sauer P 365 and it is my very first semi auto I have ever owned. My other pistol is a S & W 357 model 19 6 inch barrel bought it new back in 1974 and it looks brand new still, when I bought it I got a box of shells and a holster out the door for 150.00 dollars
I found @Demolition Ranch through @Hickok45 and now love all Matt's channels.

Just so happens that these are my two favorite gun enthusiast channels
Two of my favorite youtubers together. The difference between Hickok45 and other shooting videos is. He always shows what he is doing and what he is shooting at. Some youtubers just show the weapon shooting. They don’t show what targets there shooting or how it performs while its shooting.
You can't be a fan of Hickok without being a fan of Matt/Demolition Ranch and vice versa. You'll eventually run into the other in the recommendations in the sidebar thankfully.
True, started on hickok came to matt and now enjoing both channes a lot!
I'm brazilian and gun lover, even after all the effort the last socialist governments tried to make us be afraid of guns and took our rights to carry them, there's a lot of us who love shooting.
Moving into the USA and shooting those guns.. that would be a dream coming true for me :)

Always watch both channels Matt the part of your videos that’s still gets me is the opening skits I love them every time I watch I start laughing and my wife always says “oh your watching that crazy guy again” I just nod and keep smiling.
I have a Springfield 1911 Loaded Lightweight Operator .45 ACP (5" stainless steel match grade barrel, 3 dot tritium sights, national match trigger). I absolutely LOVE that pistol. I practice weekly shooting right, left & both handed at 4" steel targets at various distances. It is so smooth! Of course my daily carry pistol is a Ruger SR40c.

Nice to hear Matt is a family man. There are a lot of things in life I haven’t done because I was able to be home with my family. I have been able to travel to interesting places for my craft but “there’s no place like home”!

Sat through the entire 45:28 minutes of this and enjoyed every second of it. Hickok45 and I are about the same age and like him, I'm just a kid at heart. John is a great cameraman and very funny too. Demolition is hilarious in his videos and brings out the kid in me. Both are the best there is!!! Don't change a dang thing please.
That last bit about the different audio styles in filming is actually really interesting.

For the two Hickock guys, I prefer the way you do your checks, in that your explanations of the weapons being checked are done as thoroughly as you can. Having been certified with a rifle at the age of 8-years-old in 1953 by the NRA in MA. No, I do not live up there and left that state for the warmer climes of NW FL, near Eglin AFB.
