I had the same at the end of the '80s! Nice engine, good comfort even with a pillion. Negative the brakes and the weight. Unfortunatelly the HONDA v4 engines in those years had problems with the overhead cams. Take care and enjoy it
what happened to that front mudguard ? right cubby box is unobtainium. rear light is unobtainium also, but yours only has minor crack engine sounds to be in good condition.
I already got that right box installed aswell as new front fender. Front fender got damaged because previous owner installed bigger front tire and it was rubbing after it heated up or during braking I presume.
@@Pabloel that's how it looks, I've seen bigger tyres fitted and they didn't touch, that must have been a whopper of a tyre. Poland, wouldn't surprise me if you are the chap that called me naughty names on ebay.
The middle exhaust section is stock for sure. The rear section I have not seen before on any VF1000. The shape is the same, sound is the same aswell (after I removed the silencers) - I have two other bikes that I can compare with.
@@Pabloel It has a nice sound on this video, and rear silences looks like mine, except my silencers are black. My VF1000F2 is really silent. I would like some more sound. By removing the silencers, you mean the db killers? Is it the 4 bolt in the middle behind? Thank you :)
@@caspersigaard3689 On this video you can see black circle in the middle of exhaust where the silencer was. 4 bolts and everything came out. I also put on video with DB killers installed. OEM Mufflers do not have DB killers. I have completely stock exhaust on one of my bikes and it is riveted together in the back. I also have one that was completely gutted, and new rivets installed and center section removed. Very, very loud.

The f2 version has wider head, longer camshafts and different oil pump with oil cooler.
It does not share the first generation issues

@@Pabloel Im quite sure that i have bolts and not rivets. So maybe my silencers are not stock?
