@@Renfail thanks these guides really help. Although sometimes it's nice to get lost and stumble through, lately I find more enjoyment out of knowing what to do, but not trying to speed through it. Lots of great content here!!
Great video Renfail. Do you have any advice for someone who is intending to come play EverQuest 2 on Antonia Bayle? I am mainly intending to just solo through the old content sequentially and have a casual, slow, fun time. I haven't chosen a class yet but I am wondering if you have any caveats for me.
I've been playing since launch, and I still can't decide which I want as my main. But as a forewarning, Paladin has been broken since launch. Every thing a Paladin does has insane power costs, so hit a couple two three abilities, and your power pool is immediately at zero.
Hi Renfail, I've been playing for the past 2 weeks a troll defiler on a traditional server. I've been learning about every other class but I don't hear anything about beastlords. Are beastlords bad? No one plays the beastlord? Just curious? Looking to play a class who melee fights, does a bit of healing but has a pet for some tanking. Thanks!
Hey Ren, EQ2 is one of my first MMOs that I've been playing for about a month. What I want to know is, what is the goal of this game? Can I play it however I want? For instance, if I want to just explore all the zones and just quest, can one do that? If one wants to just do dungeons can they just do that until max level or they get bored? Is the goal to pretty much do whatever you want? Thanks.
Yeah for the most part. The expansions all have storylines to follow, as do the Signature Quest lines. If you are new, I would focus on things like the Heritage Quests and Signature Quests for story arcs....you can check out the EQ2 wiki for the expansion stories as well to get you going.
Thanks for the vid! Just started up a halfling guardian. Excited to level and see more of the game.
SO much to see :)
Just started a berserker barbarian! First time playing through, I have been a long time EQ player! This is a great game thanks for your help!
Zerkers can be a lot of fun. Enjoy!

Nope! Just test a few things, find what you like, and play. There really isn't anything else to it :)
Thanks for replying. I decided to go with Assassin.
I played a warlock for the 1st 5 years of eq2… don’t do it… Wizard’s’s is better in every way and I regretted my decision.
to each their own

Go for it :) They are equal
@@Renfail Thanks Ren!
Well, this inspired me to make and actively use a Bruiser in raid. Conji is still the best though :)
enjoy
I started last night, only 20 mins before bed. I rolled demon knight or something like that.
have fun :)
