- My Dad & I worked together to build the Ultimate mancave 100% DIY style. We were a a budget so we took brand new metals, wood, materials and made them look super old and rustic. We hope some of you can take our ideas and use them for your own DIY projects.

Brad your relationship with your pops is awesome. It reminds me of mine who has stage four cancer right now and if I could give you any advice, even though there’s times when you bicker and argue between each other. I don’t have a lot of time to watch TH-cam so I’m pretty selective. I’m 100 percent glad I decided to watch this 30+ video all the way through! I would love to build a bar into my shop and this gave me a ton of ideas!

Wow @BradDeberti absolutely phenomenal man cave!! That concrete countertop will truly make it!! Be cool if while the concrete was still wet if you could float the gears etc.. flush with the top. All in all, I’d DEFINITELY hang out and have a beer or twelve with yall any day!! Just my kind of people for sure!! Yall stay blessed brother!!

I just wish I get along with my dad. like you to you to act like brothers, love what you do. love your bar. to bad your bar won't be open for business. I would love to hang out and drink in a mancave like yours. love what you and your dad do. just keep making the badass stuff you do.
Suggestion if you haven't figured out the bartop yet.... Fill it about 3/4 the way with concrete and press in your gears, parts, maybe a shock spring... Whatever. go ham filling it with memorabilia. But make sure to leave some sticking up higher than the concrete but lower than the bartop. Also, keep some of the concrete finish rocky and rough. Don't worry about floating all of the surface to a perfect flat finish. Then fill that last 25% with deep pour epoxy. Maybe you can touch base with Total Boat, because they LOVE sponsoring TH-camrs' projects. That way you can cut the cost of the epoxy by at least 75%, if not completely if Total Boat steps up. Fantastic job. I did the metal in my house like you did. Make sure you clear coat it . otherwise it will keep rusting. My metal is now solid rust and doesn't look as good as it did when I put it up.. Awesome job on the bar. Cant wait to see the final product. Keep up the great work

Looks AWESOME with the counter top you could put your gears and automotive bits and top with a glass panel or even put some taps on the I beam trim and inlay the glass so it sits flush with the top of the beam trim

Absolutely stunning work guys. From the UK. I did a bit of glass fibre work on a camper. The resin if you buy clear is not expensive. Setting car engine parts etc in resin on the bar top would look awesome. You can also put glitter or colour swirls in the resin too.
