Congratulations Jason on a fantastic bear. Nice shooting. Look how forward the shot was and how far back it excited , still double lung. Seems like middle of the middle may not be correct after all. I hope all is well with you and yours👍👍
Congratulations, I was wondering if you guys have taken these Bears with 40-50lb recurves and Heavy 650-700 grain arrows like old school bowhunting ?. Dr Ashby has re popularized this concept with a lot of his publications. I would like to know your thoughts on this.
The things that are being promoted by people who have popularized Ashby's findings since his death are controversial for sure. I think there is a lot of value there for deer and other smaller game, but for bears, you want to prioritize getting a low exit wound.
Congrats on nice bear. Definitely a bit of excitement telling the story 😄 Great video of the shot. Could the shot placement had anything to do with excitement or the height angle? Just a thought for next time.
Best bear channel on the World Wide Web!!
Congratulations

Did you get a weight on that bear? Boar or sow?
240-pound boar.
Have you noticed a difference in Ontario bear (large bears) numbers since the reopening of the sprung bear hunt?
I have not noticed any difference.
@@BowhuntingRoad Excellent. Means its healthy
Also, what region of Ontario?
Atikokan
@@BowhuntingRoad That's way up there. Good area, good mix of big game.

Great positive attitude!
