According to Kody' if he doesn't live in the same house as his kids he doesn't want anything to do with them. He doesn't pay for their food, house, car, medical, nothing. He deserves to be a very lonely old man.

Kody never paid for anything for any of his wives ( except robyn) he never bought food...never paid the morgage...never paid a utility bill, nothing!!! Polygamist men don't pay for anything they leave it to the wives to pay for evrrything...kody never even carried health insurance on his minor kids. Everything a kid got I'll the mom's paid the dr bill. When truly almost died christine had to pay for the hospital bill and was still paying on that when she had to get insurance on Isabel to get back surgery...kody never paid a DIME...ever!!

She needs to get her $$$$ from Kody before Janelle leaves--$$$$ that she paid towards Robyn's house AND the $$$$ she is due from the Coyote Pass property $$$ AND settling Garrison's estate. If she leaves, Kody will make it disappear!

Janelle can handle all of that remotely thru an attorney. If her physical presence in Flagstaff still to this day hasn't gotten her any money from Kody then cut the loss and move on. Her being there clearly isn't moving the needle on anything. It's just an excuse for her to be lazy and stay in old habits.

I wouldn’t even bother with Kody with savanna at all. My ex said what Kody loves to say. They want nothing to do with me , or the moms keep them away, or my boys don’t respect me. There r always an excuse. I wouldn’t play his mind games. Leave and let her grow up with a good mom and great wonderful brothers.

I never expected Kody to mend his relationships with Janelle's kids after Garrison's passing.
Robyn's kids never look happy because she has trained them to be victims of harsh and unfair treatment. She has convinced them that they were voted off of the Brown island. And, Robyn is usually miserable no matter what, so her children have emulated her mood and disposition.
Kody is a poor excuse for father.

I always thought from early on that Maddie was well grounded. She married, left and apparently didn't care to have a relationship with her "father " Maddie and Caleb are the quiet heroes. The older kids were always raised by some extent by Maddie and Logan

But I do believe they loved the all the children . Even Robyn brood the 5pack of children tenders 🍟 as I like to call them. It's too bad that K&R kept them from knowing each other.
Logan doesn't want to have kids cuz he spent his entire childhood taking care of his siblings. Makes perfect sense to me.

They might change their minds. Maybe have one in a few yrs. My son doesn't want kids...he and his older sister are my only kids and there were 8 yrs between them. They were raised almost like only kids. Expecially my son since his sister moved out at 17...but he doesn't want kids. And hasn't given me a reason why...so Logan may not want to have kids for reasons we DONT know.

All of these mothers were single parents except Robyn.
Kody and Robyn needs to be taken off TV for the mental Health of Kody’s children that they have abused. Keeping those two creeps and paying them for being abusive is reinforcing the trauma. It is traumatic to see making money off of abusing others.
Also remembered Janelle is at Maddie’s house too so they have grandma with them. So Maddie is not taking the brunt of it on because her mom is there. In fact Janelle might be so good at relieving Maddie’s burden with three kids that it’s a pleasure for all of them to be together.
I agree and her siblings are all great with kids so, anytime she's had one there has likely been helpful as well.
I will not watch this horrible show ever again. I also hold all of the adults accountable for the neglect of their children, all of them put money and fame before the wellbeing of their children. I will never watch any reality show that has children filmed and used for filming…
I agree I feel bad for most of the children Janelle left a few times in the past but kept going back to a man that just took and took and was never a good father or provider to her children.

I'm the youngest of 6. My oldest sister is 13 years older than I am. I leaned on her a lot as a young adult as I slowly learned how to be independent. Siblings are there for you in ways your parents aren't and friends never can be. Even if Maddie's place is small, there's plenty of room and love. Happy for Savannah.
I used to laugh everytime he said all of the houses are mine. He is so full of crap. He is a horrible parent.
Mykelti lives in fantasy land. The coming together as a family for Garrison’s funeral, was for that moment in time, nothing more. There are scars that will never heal and bridges they have crossed that not one can turn around and go back to how it was. They have grown beyond the way it was.

I think his mask started slipping when his children and eventually his wives, outgrew or rebeled against being controlled by His Majesty. The more people saw the real Kodylocks, the less he could control his outbursts because he is so angry at being dethroned.

Janelle is healing and probably loving on those grandkids. She probably keeping busy because being alone with her thoughts is horrible and scary for her right now. They'll get it all together. Kudos to Maddie and Caleb for being strong for the family when needed.

Grown, married siblings welcoming their younger sister and mom into their house for the summer is generally NOT a burden. No doubt, Maddie and Caleb lovingly opened their arms and home to Janelle and Savannah after Garrison’s loss. Logan having to help raise his younger siblings when a teenager himself is a completely different situation. Seems like a pot is being stirred that doesn’t need watching.

I think when you come from a huge family like this having a sibling come visit for a few months is fun. They are used to a full house and Savanna will probably be very helpful.

Why doesn't Janelle stop being a nomad and buy a home somewhere? She could sell that RV for a down payment and she will be getting money from the show. Money she doesn't need to share with anyone. Savannah needs a place to call home where her mother is. A soft reliable place to land. That poor kid has been through enough.
I think they want to be together. Janelle has plenty of money and she got 500k from SGLI. I think Maddie enjoys them coming over and staying and helping out with the kids and just being with family. I think this take on it is totally wrong.

A father with multiple wives and children needs to understand there’s a lot of dynamics in his family and everyone has different perspectives and values, depending on which house they’re living in. He needs to be respectful and understanding of each child and how they are living within their own home. Kody has no idea what it’s like to live with so many different families and personalities and everything that will inevitably happen in such a diverse family environment. He expects everyone to think, feel and act exactly like he does, which is extremely selfish and ignorant. Kody doesn’t see anything beyond what HE sees. And if anyone thinks differently than he does, he will make sure that they are punished, or ignored, so then he has less to deal with.
Maddie and her family could say no.... but instead, welcomes them with open arms. There is nothing wrong with that... Maddie and her family have options... if there is no room at the end, they can say so...
I hope Janelle and Savannah have a wonderful summer in North Carolina with Maddy and her family. After all the family has been through, getting away from Flagstaff for a while (or longer?) might be the best solution for all of them.

Absolutely, as what chance did they have after Robyn pushed their bio dad out of their lives & manipulated the 3 older kids that their dad was the bad guy. The only example the 2 older girls have had is Robyn as the perpetual victim. She’s had them so isolated. What opportunity have the adult girls had to see an alternate to that?
Maybe Kody’s hanging out with Robyn’s older girls but not because he feels like a dad to them. Robyn needs to protect them.

My friends oldest brother moved out ad soon as he turned 16.Her parents were divorced and the mother worked all the time and the parenting unintentionally fell on him.Hes always been there for her and the siblings but he was a brother thrown into being a parent when he was still a kid himself. Being a parent should be by choice when you're ready to have your own children.I think Maddie is just helping out through the transition.Im glad they have her to lean on.Remember Maddie is an adult now not a child.

I come from a family of 10 siblings. Our mother died very young. Once we hit 18 we were out, having planned our next step with jobs and scoping out living arrangements. These poor kids have never been shown how to transition to adulthood. But I know something they don't, they can do it, they are all bright and have the ability to make it on their own, something their father has never done, as the wives have done most of the work, as parents and bringing home the money through their hard work!
Well said! And it's so true--they can do it! Also I'm sorry about your mom. My mom's mother died when my mom was 13. She was separated from her siblings and sent to an aunt's house on a farm in a different state. Tough stuff.
@@tuft9250My mother in law’s Mom died when she was a toddler. I think there were 12 siblings with one even younger than her. They all managed to stay together but the older siblings took care of the younger ones and it caused some control issues later on in their lives. Resentments passed on to the next two generations!

My ex-husband was like Cody in many ways. After the divorce, he never did any parenting, but just wanted my daughters to be obedient and like his new life with his new spouse. That didn't work out at all. They grew from him and didn't have any use for him anymore. My girls grew up to be wonderful women and mothers. About Kody running around his spouses: He could have had a place for himself to stay in a few days long ago if he needed it.
They might as well tell everybody their dad is dead. And it is sad. All I can think is Janelle must have really believed in this stuff.(I don't know why).
They were ok before Sobbin. Maybe not great but they had a handle on it. Sobbin's broke the camels back. But Kody, he's just a dick. It might have all fell apart anyway, but they didn't stand a chance after Sobbin.

When my younger brother passed away, it was a privilege to offer comfort to my parents. Due to their parents being separated, Janelle needs a secure environment and not grieving alone. Even though it is difficult to adjust to losing your child, it's fortunate for Kody to have Robyn and their brood of children. Is it feasible for Janelle or Savannah to reside in their RV in NC?

First off let me just say that I love that Maddie and her husband took in Christine's daughter and now Janelle's, plus with Janelle being there. Those who have lost children from suicide know. It is not something you get over, it is not something that you move on from. With suicide there is no closure. NONE!!! Janelle needs support from her children. Kody would never. Until you have walked in those shoes, no one has a right to say what should happen in a family. I know how that feels. Janelle, Christine and their children are still going through the firsts. Then we have the second year. The numbness has gone, reality has set in and then there is the depression, the sadness. I love that Janelle is getting so much support from the children. Enough said!! I will say it again, if you have not walked in the shoes of good parents that have lost a child to suicide, you don't know, you don't get to judge. Janelle's children are her saving graces every day. Every day!!!
It’s more common than some think for older teens to spend summers with their older siblings. They can get a sense of independence, while still being looked after. Lots of older siblings (myself included) LOVE having younger siblings visit for extended periods of time. It has nothing to do with our parents; just simply growing the sibling relationship into adulthood.

I find it very telling that none of the kids so far have chosen a polygamous lifestyle. That in itself shows that polygamy is not a viable option, everyone suffers apart from the man who at any opportunity can and will walk away when things get difficult.
Janelle should move out of Flagstaff. Most of her children have left Flagstaff so there’s not much holding her there. I feel terrible for the Brown children who have been abandoned by their father. Kody is a poor excuse of a parent. He chose to have 18 children but has now decided he doesn’t want them (with the exception of he and Robyn’s 5 kids). Kody is an absolutely horrendous human being.

I don’t think it’s a whole lot of pressure. Ysabelle moved in with Caleb and Maddie at one point too and she helped them with the kids. I think it’s going to be the same situation for Savannah. She will help them with their kids and babysit when needed.
I agree with you 100% about the older children. They should not have to be the parents to children that are not theirs.
