That’s really true. She said she wanted her sister wives more than she wanted the husband. But it seems like she’s made more of an effort to keep her “family” separate from everyone else, and has basically been practicing monogamy with Kody. This whole show is really demonstration of a failed experiment. This show has proved polygamy is an awful thing. Kody has said such ugly things to and about pretty much all of his wives and children except for Robin. She got what she wanted, just take him and go. She and Kody will one day have to give an account for the pain they have caused to so many simply based on her love of power and his lust for Robyn, and both of their hunger for money and possessions. I don't think she feels guilty in the slightest. Kody seems to once in a great while but Robyn, no. She's just trying to make it seem like she has some goodness in her due to supposed faith in God. She does not behave like a person who truly has faith.
Robyn's "poor little me" game has always worked for her with men and some others. So, she is attempting to continue that game in social media and that does not work. We can see right through it. You are right about focusing on the positive. When I taught middle school, I was spending all my time trying to get the misbehaving kids to behave. It was miserable and I had no time for the good kids. So, one night I decided that the next day the good kids were going to get my attention. They got the rewards, too, like getting to leave the class on a pass for the library etc. If kids misbehaved, then I'd say "no" to a pass request, but that maybe tomorrow if they behaved in class and did their work. Slowly, the misbehaving kids turned around and became more like the positive kids. What I found out was that the kids all just wanted attention. The misbehaving kids got attention from me at first, but had to improve to get my attention after that. It really did work and life was much better for learning and for me to enjoy the class.
And that's what I call teaching! My granddaughter is about to turn 18, and she plans to be an elementary teacher. With your permission, I would like to share your post with her. Thank you for it, either way.

I believe you are wrong that Robyn grew up in polygamy. Her father cheated on his wife and had a second family. They were not sister wives. They didn't raise their kids together. They did not live in the same house. He had an affair. That's where her insecurities lie. She was a dirty little secret but not for the same reason as Kody's family. She has no self confidence and she's trying to fill that hole in her heart with stuff. Even in bankruptcy, she will not learn, just as she didn't with her 1st husband. The only caulking that can fill that hole is self live. She didn't in the past, she's not in the present and doubtful she will figure it out in the future. She's never going to get it and her husband really isn't equipped to understand anyone or hel0 anyone cause he has his own childhood trauma and tv counsellors don't cut the mustard especially when they don't tell you the truth about yourself.

What Robyn needs to do is ask herself "How's that working for you?" Yes, Dr. Phil's favorite saying. But, Robyn needs to look at what she is doing and acknowledge that some of what she is doing is not working. Her behavior works with Kody, but the same behavior does not work with others. She needs to figure out what she needs to change in herself and start working on that. That is called growth. We are all constantly growing and have to acknowledge that things may need to change. If she can't go to a therapist for assistance, then there are lots of self-help books.
And other ppl, who are embracing the changes, to offer support and encouragement. js

Thanks for sharing a portion of your religious journey, Katie. I no longer attend church either, but I have never lost my faith in God, due to my mother's example. My mother struggled every day and that was the thing that made me know I couldn't lose my faith whether I attended church or not. Some people look down on those who don't attend church but God knows who we really are. IMHO Robyn's upbringing made her very twisted. I think hiding her real life when she was young made her much the way she is today.

I hate to break it to you but the Protestant church pushes a false Jesus. Yes, Mormons are also Protestant. They just took it to the next level. They scrubbed clean the Original Bible to discredit the Catholic Church and in the process they have a watered down form of Christianity - because there is a lot of money to be made when you are in control of your own church. The potential is to become filthy rich. Hence hundreds of different denominations in the Protestant church.
The one good thing to come from Cody’s total neglect of his first three wives and their kids is they had no choice but to learn how to stand on their own two feet. And that has made them able to walk away from Cody and Robin. But that doesn’t mean that the first wives shouldn’t get back the money Cody took from them to spend on Robin . They need to get lawyers.

Even now they ignore her..what could Meri have done that was worse than Robyn?? Meri needed a friend ,a confidant, in the family and Robyn promised her that, making it easy for Robyn to work her evil intentions. How could Meri not go along, without ignoring the tragic pllight of those 3 kids( boohoo) if she didn't let them get adopted?? I also work with a lady always talking about her faith/God on her social media ,but in real life treats people like dog poo. To them people you are not fooling God or people! Its in acts of kindness in real life not just words on social media Robyn and others that do that.
Katie, I'm big into Jesus right now, just like you were. It's funny though I was LDS for about 10ish years with periods of inactivity. And I was agnostic for a while. So, I understand all sides. I remember this one Christians' house, in their bathroom was verse quotes all over the wall. I don't know if that was supposed to be cool or whatever. I'm in a women's ministry with a scholarship. Christianity helped during the situation, because I had hope, and I watched church online. And there's a church outreach group that meets here where I live. And Bible study on Wednesday nights.

In my opinion, it seems that Robin has no shame and has a really hard time being accountable for her behavior. The viewing public and Cody's kids can't all be wrong in our assessment of how Robin has acted towards the OG wives and their children. The only people who are not being self aware are Cody and Robin. At this point the show has stopped being enjoyable or entertaining, it just feels too abusive and frustrating to watch.
