But he still has those feelings for Ennard, so he hates hearing him upset like that, and also he hates walking out of a relationship he thought was so good, in a way, he kinda wants to come back, but everything that once was is now gone. And that is heart breaking for Michael.
In short, yandere syndrome is, in other words, possessiveness, obsessive jealousy. Here the matter is roughly because the sick person does not consider himself sick, but a normal person like everyone else. They also do it because they have problems with showing affection, e.g. love, and consider it normal to use violence to keep the person they love at any cost.
