- Once again taking Traptrix into the Duelist Cup with great success. I ended up playtesting Nepenthes during the event, but it almost never came up, where as having Vesiculo would have been preferable in almost every instance that I did see the card. There might be a spot for it yet, but the way it plays and the lines you have to make to get the benefit out of it just go against my deck design and concept. Definitely like having two Infinite Impermanence for the deck now, though.

A este punto siento que tirarles una maxx c es mucho mas eficaz que una ash si tu oponente usa Traptix y va primero. Una vez estas pequeñas combustible de pesadilla en forma de niña son liberados considera que tu rival no tiene una mala mano, tiene una mano perfecta porque este deck va a empezar a producir recursos de manera rapida
¿Porque la Maxx C?, pues no puedes interrumpir un deck con tantas opciones asi de facil, pero si puedes por lo menos a tener tantos recursos que habras abrumado el emjambre tyrani...traptix.
can u share the recipe? Im doing research on traptrix and it's interesting that ur using Genlisea cus noboby uses her in high tier
@@valplay1155 It is a great 1 of in the deck as it serves a niche purpose. While in more grinding games, it gives you incredible advantage, especially if you just need one more Gravedigger's activation or the threat of one to keep your opponent at bay. It is an edge case though, most games are blowouts anymore, but in a simplified game state, it is a really powerful tool to have.
This is the current list, it has changed a bit since this video. I am continuing to work on it to get it from a budget build to fully realized deck. It is super consistent though, and gets around a lot of handtraps really well.

@@valplay1155 I:P's protection effect is not dependent upon her quick effect, it is free to go into to give Atypus an additional layer of protection or for going into Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax, which can be a win condition of its own.
I am not a huge fan of Parallel eXceed in the current format, as I have explained to others, with the top deck running so many handtraps, it just clogs up the board when it fails to resolve and is a brick if it is the only monster you draw.
Anti-Spell Fragrance is a great card, but would definitely be more of a side deck option, and since Master Duel is best of 1s and it is a continuous trap, I do not find it consistent enough to run right now.
Beetrooper is definitely something I have wanted to experiment with (and did a little bit during the event where you could only have one copy of each card). I just have not had the time recently to really play test it yet.
@@valplay1155 The reason why the deck does not run hardly any handtraps was mostly due to budget initially. Where the physical stater decks came with Ash Blossom, when building this deck originally I only had the one from the bundle. Since then, I have gotten more, but the format changed to where the top deck is not really hurt all that much by Ash Blossom and can actually use the Hitta link to get to Link 3s.
The deck also runs along a different axis than most decks and many of the trap cards fill in the role of what handtraps would, but are searchable and much more reusable.
I was also waiting to see if certain cards where to be banned or limited before investing into them, but I really do need to get Maxx "C" for the deck, as it does not seem like it is going anywhere, anytime soon. Likewise, I would like to get an S:P Little Knight as well, those are my next goals for the deck currently.

At the end of my last video (Post February 2024 Banlist) you can find a deck list, but during this event I got a second Infinite Impermanence (and took out a Lost Wind for it). I plan on making a proper deck list on a site here soon, though.

The current build is at the end of my Post February 2024 Banlist video. During this event I playtested a few cards I do not normally run, but found the current build to still be the best for my playstyle at the moment. I am working on getting a few more URs for the deck here soon, though.
