Both work the same actually. I tried both legit and fake HKS SQVs. Some said that fakes will boost leak at high boost. I dont go that high of boost anyways, 1.7b is the max i went due to wrong boost controller settings. If you are not going high boost，on a budget and but wants the unique tweet sound, just get a fake hks from a shop that people have brought from a lot of times. If not, get the real thing. *Update: my fake black edition will leak boost when floored. Example, my car is tuned to 1.4b but when at peak load, it cannot build boost beyond 1.1b.
The only way to differentiate the original from the fake Chinese shit is the sound. The smaller valve on the knock off does not function so there goes your signature HKS whistle.

Did you make a custom blow off for your CLS? I saw it was center placed...
Did you use factory mounting to use this, or did you buy a methanol injection kit? If so which kit did you buy?
