I remember reading about AMH and about him trying to break out of his geek persona he'd done so often. That's why his chatacter in Edward Scissorhands was so different, then this effort in 94. I don't remember seeing him after this until The Dead Zone
Funny how no one pointed out. There's 2 movies called Hail, Caeser! One was this movie from 1994 which has Iron Man and Nick Fury. The other was a Coen Brothers 2016 film which has Black Widow and Thanos.
It is great to see Robert Downey Jr. and Anthony Michael Hall playing in another movie together. There are probably so many movies I want to see. But, I do not see on television because the channels show the same type of movies repeatedly.
Anthony Michael Hall is a genius did you know he starred as Mutt Lang in the 2000s musical Def Leppard Hysteria movie you can find it on TH-cam it’s not hard to find you just look up Def Leppard story the only issue is it has like Russian or German subtitles but the good news is the movie is in English you just can’t get rid of the subtitles. I’ve watched that movie enough times to get used to it but it’s annoying at first you can’t make out 1 word on what the subtitle says.
I think this is one of the funniest scenes ever. Literally ever. It's absolutely hysterical. Too bad the rest of the movie basically sucks. But this scene, I watch it over and over again and laugh every time. Robert Downey Junior is so manically hilarious. I don't get sick of watching this. It's freaking classic.
Even by 1994, AMH had changed and grown up alot from his mid 80s heyday, but his face and voice was st least recognizable if you knew who it was. Now though, he seriously doesn't even resemble his younger self at all.
AHM physically looked to biffy to play dorky anymore. It's almost the same problem Rick(y) Schroeder had when he grew from a pie-face shaped baby boy to a big blockhead LOL
they were in weird science together n now this lolol my god i would love to them again in avengers 3 movie hell i would take a cameo from anthony . have them pass by eachother then stop n look at each other thinking do i know then hmm .
It's so funny you say this because I am having a convo about zodiacs and telling this person I think Aries. Guys, girls but guys especially are the dominant when it comes to charm, quirkiness but also care a ease of communicating and being very naturallybioen with people. Aries seems to be the people you would most wanna be like in society the conversation starters or naturally more interesting. Its opinion but it seems to have some validity the more ans more over time
They killed that scene together!! So much fun to watch ; again n again n again
He STILL dances like this.
this must have been a riot to film lol. only wish the song was on spotify
My Mom watched this a lot, so naturally I remember this film.
I had the dvd but I think I ended up giving it to my Mom since she loves it
0:33 gotta be his go-to move

RDJ at his most spun. Sad. Glad he recovered.
TH-cam-tied what happened here to him?
Am i the only one who gets the feeling they filmed this at 2 completely different times and then spliced the footage together???
Weird scene RDJ reminds me of Robin Williams playing this character.
1:05 *crab* 🦀

They were in Johnny Be Good also with Urma Thurman also.

What+s the name of the song? I's realy great, just like the movie :D
what is the goddamn song
I'm sorry but this movie seems ridiculous. However, I'm sure they had a great time making it.
clearly a low point of Robert Downey's career
...
😁😁😁
How do I get the movie? And is RDJ in much of it? x x
This is the only scene he's really in. He shows up at the end of the movie for about 10 seconds.
Arthur Rimbaud thank you, you saved me!
qurky
I think it's lower for Michael Hall's career, this is at the time when Jr. Was playing Chaplin.
Exactly. RDJ most likely did this cameo as a favor to his buddy.
Am boooored
