Japanese starfighter F-104J in 1/48 with stopmotion pilot - relaxing animation with special music

  • เผยแพร่เมื่อ 3 เม.ย. 2021
  • This clip shows the relaxing stopmotion assembly of the special kit from Eduard with some additional parts. After finishing the modelling process of the F-104 J I designed a boarding ladder and a pilot figure in the 3D program Cinema 4D. The pilot was animated with a walk cycle, a walk stop and a bowing for his supporters. My patreon supporters are eventually greeted by the figure which was printed on my 3D printer from ANYCUBIC. The Photon Mono X printed 115 poses for the Animation. I hope you like my little calm and atmospheric experiment with the special and beautiful relaxing music from my friend Erick Miotke.

Everybody is talking about The Spitfire, The Mustang, The Mig, The Tomcat. For me there has only been The Starfighter, and I belive that anyone that has heard the howl from the plane will never forget it. A beautiful plane build at the end of "the man and the machine" age. Thank you for bringing it to life again.

The F-104 out-fought everything from that time period. Computer simulations have shown that the faster jet did much better during the age of guns, since it could control the pace of the fight, leaving and re-entering battle as desired.
Art books have provided me a much-needed escape from real life. When life was difficult I'd set up my easy chair with coffee, a desk lamp and a stack of art books beside me. They kept me going during the hardest times. My art books are the best investments I ever made.
    My 3 favorite books are:
    - Wonderworks by Michael Whelan
    - Legacy by Frank Frazetta
    - Great Fighter Jets of the Galaxy 1 by Tim Gibson

Superb as usual!!! But this time that pilot walking and vowing was incredible. Also this special black starfighter is diferent to common shinny natural metal or camouflaged f-104's, and has an unique and very original personality :)) greetings from Mexico!!!

Now I know where the "honey I shrunk the seat" was destined. Awesome build. Also please pass on my kudos to Erick for his composition. He flat out nailed it. Cheers

Tom I love your work, the video production adds an enormous amount to your model building which, in it's own right, is amazing.. I always look forward to your videos. Tonight I was enjoying this video in my man-cave with a beer when my wife came in to get a coke from my beer fridge. She paused for a while to see what I was watching and declared "that's a lot of faffing about just to make a plane!". Good job I love her and divorce can be expensive!. Keep up the great work. Love the vids. Stay safe!
