You should have seen my old subframe! I could poke holes in it with my fingers it was so rusty! When I put my new FCS subframe in I struggled lining up the chassis bolt holes, I would have loved to use rigid collars but I needed that extra play around each bolt hole! Keep up the great videos! I know it's tough balancing a busy schedule with TH-cam!

You installed the rigid collar kit incorrectly. The piece where the steel goes only takes 1 collar not the bottom piece the rear long bolt takes 2 rigid collar kits.
@@bvspeed there is for EG/DC. If you look at it, it’s a small ‘metal square thingy’ and it also kalled a collar, rear beam. The part where the EG1 hard collar go onto.
I wanted to do a bunch during winter break, but of course everyone's cars were under the knife! lol I plan to do a bunch more and will probably stock up on them for the next off season.
Don't mean to be a dick but I believe you installed collar 5 in the wrong place. In the position where collar one goes you don't need one on the bolt according to the instructions it goes to the bolts left and right closes to the center of the subframe. I think that might of been the reason it didn't fit in the first place.

if you have to drop the subframe for whatever reason do you have to get new collars too since they crush down into shape? or can you reuse them

There isn’t anything on the stock subframe. The hard collar is an additional kit added to the existing subframe.
