Look at the guy that was poisoning his wife with eyedrops. That was a really bizarre case. I don’t remember how they figured it out. And the other case was when the man was being poisoned with his coffee. He hid a camera which showed the wife tampering with his coffee. I will never figure out why people are so evil to do something like that.

This story reminds me of proverbs 7 . ”She seduces him with her persistent pleading; she lures with her flattering talk. He follows her impulsively like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer bounding toward a trap until an arrow pierces its liver, like a bird darting into a snare  - he doesn’t know it will cost him his life. Now, sons, listen to me, and pay attention to the words from my mouth. Don’t let your heart turn aside to her ways; don’t stray onto her paths. For she has brought many down to death; her victims are countless. Her house is the road to Sheol, descending to the chambers of death.“

Am I the only one who often has to come to the comments section to find out crucial information about a true crime show? Apparently, a commenter says she killed her father. This is vital information they chose to skip out. That might also be a place to start the answer of "why" she began her murderous career.
We were told next to nothing about her life, nothing about her father, and only a throwaway sentence about her killing her first husband.
Then the confusion about everyones age. It is fine to show better-looking actors, but not to muddle up the ages so badly people lose concentration.
It would also be interesting to close the piece with a statement about whether she actually did receive the death penalty. Someone said she is the oldest woman on death row (age 90) but not what her fate has been.
Producers really need to work their entertainment around the facts.

Probably the same as other serial poisoners- either a pathological need for the attention they get when a loved one is sick, or a merciless drive for whatever money they can gain by their death. The former have what is considered Munchausen by proxy, the later are psychopaths, probably narcissists, and more interested in money than in loved ones. Most psychopaths are not murderous and will never kill anyone. But those who decide it's the way to get what they want are truly dangerous.

Every time this situation occurs, the immediate suspicion should be poisoning. And the protocol should be immediate hemodialysis, possible pumping of the stomach, and no toxic IV drugs, unnecessary antibiotics, etc. Police should be notified as soon as suspicions are even remotely confirmed (more than one evidence marker exists = Young wife or girlfriend + unexplained Emergency Health Condition = possibly or even likely poisoning). Blood, urine, and tissue samples should be taken as soon as possible after Admittance to the ER or other Unit (especially) if the patient has a medical history (such as Cardiovascular Disease = CARDIO ICU). Emergency Chemicial (Blood, Urine, Tissue/ Hair) Toxicology testing should be done immediately (as soon as possible). A ventilator should NOT be utilized if at all possible. The patient should NOT be intubated. Oxygen mask/Nasal Cannula is fine. This is the result of it happening to me, and subsequent research.
