16:10 - Curious as to why you would not just add turbulence within the PyroSolver node? Adding another PointVelocity node seems like an extra step unless it has benefits that i am not seeing?

Amazing ! Just wondering how you can have this viewport resolution. I followed all, the limit resolution is unchecked put 25600 x 3 and in the 2D texture 20480 and also unchecked limit resolution. But when I check my pyrobakevolume, my god its blurry without any details.

so now i actually tweaked more here n there to achieve that look.

Hi, its really nice that you share it with us, i really appreciate it. I have a question, why does my colors looks so bland comparing to yours? i follow you step by step and my smoke/fire at 20;24 looks so bland and unrealistic. Yours looks great, what could go wrong? i tried to increase the intensity scale of the scatter but it didnt help. You have a dark background, i set it also to dark and your smoke is dark black, mine is more like milky gray.... even the fire is milky, ive got the latest version of houdini apprentice

Display Options (D) > Geometry > Volumes > Volume Filtering - set it to OFF
Display Options (D) > Texture > 3D Textures > Limit Resolution and increase the 3 numbers (to 512) for example.

@@indianvfxschool i have exactly the same specs, but on my scene there are about 15 meteors and with the voxel size of 0.1 in the solver it was taking me 40 minutes to process the 1st frame, i got decent solving times (30secs +/- by frame) using a voxel size of 0.5, you are using 0.05!! I haven't seen the results yet but since they are far away from camera and small on screen i am hoping i dont get too much of a trashy result 😭

hi there ! nice tutorial, followed all of your explanation, but i can't seem to figure why my temperature won't cool down... there is either no fire at all if I put the cooling rate in the pyrosolver to 1, which seems logic, or the fire stays all the way if I put it to any value less than 1... do u have any solution or could u give access to this course hip file so i can check out by myself where i might have miss something ?
