Woosung, growing up in LA, played football, got injured, started singing in church, moved to Korea and was in a singing competition, but then gave up on music. He stayed in Korea teaching English and then his friends begged him to play just one night with them and The Rose was born. There's some awesome videos of them busking on the streets.

When a cover is better than the original
Woosung’s voice is beautifully unique, the color and tone. I could listen to him all day! & his stage presence, he was born to perform. This is actually a cover, originally by LANY. But I really love his cover.
I heard Woosung on Agust D’s song Snooze and fell in love with him! Went to see the Rosevin concert when they came to Dallas! They were amazing! Army here and now also Black Rose!!

Woosung has one of THE best voices in kpop. I mean, he sings so effortlessly and has that raspiness to his voice too. He’s so good. There’s another version of this song too where he belts out a little bit more towards the end.

Woosung known as Sammy as well, was born and raised in Califórnia but he has korean roots, so he went to Korea to pursuit a career, first as a teacher and then as musician. Nowaday they are touring around the world with their latest album Dawn to Dusk. Really one of the best albums lately.

Woosung has a very unique, hauntingly beautiful voice that tickles your senses. Love The Rose! They have a lot of great songs worth checking out.
My favorite Korean band, besides BTS. I really enjoy their music, or here, their cover, because ILYSB is a Lany song's cover. The Rose are labelled as "K indie rock band". Soft melodic rock/or :pop rock, no matter how you named it, it's beautiful Lol ! Their album "Heal" is a masterpiece for me. Woosung's voice is a big part of the attractivness of the band, very unique, touching, charming and sometimes mesmerizing. His solo songs are really good, too. You should react to his featuring in Suga/Agust D solo DDay album, "Snooze", the song, with Ryuchi Sakamoto on the piano, is so beautiful !

Woosung is freakin’ sick. Any genre he can do it effortlessly and really charismatic too. Love all Woosung’s solo songs and The Rose’ live or recorded. Absolutely will never disappoint their listeners.
It's a cover. The song is originally by the singer LANY and Woosung (The Rose's Main Vocalist) first performed it on the competition show "Superband" with four other contestants. I highly recommend checking out that performance because the arrangement they di for that performance was freaking insane. They had a Saxophone and an insanely cool glass instrument thingy, i highly recommend watching it.

His voice is so raspy and airy and sexy! I was introduced to the Rose from Agust D’s song Snooze (please react to that!!! ) where woo sung features. Now they are one of my other favorites. His voice is so unique and they are a more rock indie band.

In the Kpop world there isn't just BTS, there are groups that sing a lot, they have beautiful voices and even better songs, my first and only favorite group and BIGBANG, take a look and it's wonderful. The Rose and great WOOSUNG sings a lot.

Check out Woosung's solo music he released when the rest of the band were serving in the military. Woosung was exempt cos he was not born in Korea.

The Rose is the best!
Woosung's got a song...not exactly silly butt, but it's a very interesting MV with some fun visuals, called Face!! :)) He can be very animated and it's very interesting. But, OMG, I love everything by them. I think my favorite is She's in the Rain. That's mostly Korean. It's sooooooo emotional. Their debute song Sorry is also excellent display of vocals for both main singers. But, Cure, Alive, Back to Me, You're Beautiful, Wonder.... So many good songs!
