Worked as a barista…people would look COMPLETELY different from the beginning to the end of one summer… They would come to the drive thru in the morning, and then again later in the day for a “pick-me-up” And they always ordered the largest size drinks with the highest amount of sugar possible. Sadly I remember a lady in particular who developed health issues that summer and I knew those drinks were doing anything but good for her.😞 I’m glad I don’t work there anymore.
I never knew there was so much sugar in American foods. I emigrated to beautiful USA and stopped cooking from scratch, started buying a wonderful variety of processed fun foods, and before I knew it I was fat, unhealthy and diabetic.
