@@kcirtapelyk6060 don’t forget his temper, that’s something they’re going to see in the Order of the Phoenix. I remember reading the book and actually was a little frightened with his outbursts towards even his friends. Though to be fair he does go through a lot of trauma
"He needs heartbreak!" they say about the 14 year old orphan who spent all of his childhood locked in a cupboard, acting as a child servant to his abusive uncle, aunt and cousin, who's mother was murdered in front of him and who's dying scream haunts his nightmares as he watches everyone he cares about get systematically murked, maimed or traumatised whilst dodging several assassination attempts since pre-puberty 🥴 BRO DOES NOT NEED HEARTBREAK 😂if anything he needs a hug and a damn good therapist lawd give him a chance to know peace lmao
19:43 To Ron's defense, it's more understandable and clearer why Ron is so jealous and affected by his jealousy when reading the books and having all the details. 1# He has 5 older brothers and 1 younger sister... So kind of has his share of trouble to get attention for himself. 2# His older brothers have gained success in their school years and some even after, so he feels he has very little means to get recognition. As he has said: "You could say I’ve got a lot to live up to... Everyone expects me to do as well as the others, but if I do, it’s no big deal, because they did it first. You never get anything new, either, with five brothers." #3 So, it's now clear Ron wants recognition and fame. Well it doesn't help thag6his best friend is Harry Potter, the famous boy who lived and has gotten into trouble every school year and has kinda gotten more 'famous' as it goes. 4# The fact that he has 5 brothers.. And right after him was born the ome and only daughter of the Weasley's... As his mom, Molly had very much wanted a daughter.. So, we can already assume that Ron mostlikely got even less attention, as the sister came along. When you think about what he said in my number 3 point, Ron is the one to reuse clothes the most but hia younger sibling has to had newer clothes as she's the only girl. It's a little thing, but for those who have lived in households with many siblings, and if they're at the younger end of tail, they know how it can start annoying and frustrating when all you have are always reused. 4# Speaking of reuse, Ron's wand wasn't even his, it was one of his older brother's old wand. And the rat Ron had? It hadn't even been his, it had belonged to his older brother Percy, but Ron got the rat after Percy got an owl as a prize for becoming Prefect for Gryffindor at some point. Aaand... Well, as you see in this movie, Ron got his 'tuxedo' for the Jul Ball... And it had been made out of his Aunt's clothes... (34:59) So yeah... 😅 5# Plus the fact that in this book Ron is supposed to be 14 years old... a teenager... puberty... Yay, hormones! 🤣 All I'm saying, there's many aspects for the reasons why Ron acts as he does. I'm not a fan of his behaviour, but when trying to be more understanding of his character, these things is good to take to consideration. 😊 20:26 Also, LOL! 😂 Understandable reaction there guys. 😂 I'm not a guy but gah, I relate to the urge to hug a pillow and shield myself. 🤣 26:41 Ron's brothers, the twins Fred and George didn't wish Harry to die. They were cheering for the dragon because it smashed the partion where teachers, the journalist etc were watching the trial. 😆 37:55 U-huh.. 👀 💃🏻 😂
Harry is just an ordinary person who doesn't want popularity, he just wants to be a normal person. Actually, Harry is an angry and stubborn person, and he doesn't want to be controlled, but he also has talents from birth, such as being the youngest seeker, and surviving 3 times(Harry Potter 1-2-4) from "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" How could Harry not have a personality?
With the dragon the weasley twins were only saying "well done dragon" because his tail swiped the area of the benches where all the teachers were sitting lmao
I don't care how many times I see this movie. The ritual to restore Voldemort, and seeing him rise out of the cauldron will always simultaneously send shivers racing up AND down my spine and make me nauseous. Trivia: They got the movie appearance of Voldemort almost identical to the book. There is one missing detail: in the book, Voldemort is described as having blood-red eyes with a slit-like pupil. It is understandable why they didn't use creature contact lenses on Ralph Fiennes in the movie adaptations since it would eliminate the realness of Voldemort's threatening presence. The arachnid the imposter Mad-Eye Moody was demonstrating The 3 Unforgivable Curses on was a tailless whip scorpion. As someone who was sorted into Hufflepuff on The Wizarding World website, Cedric Diggory's death hit hard. Especially seeing Amos run onto the quidditch pitch and hearing him shout "That's my son!! That's my boy!!" Backstory: Neville was traumatized by the Cruciatus Curse's usage because his parents were tortured into insanity with it.
I would like to point out that in HP, wizards are legal adults at 17 not 18. Also, the end of the Goblet of Fire is the beginning of the Second Wizarding War. It's really about to go down, so get ready because moving forward it just gets darker and darker
I initially agreed to you saying he was boring, but when I thought about it, he’s not boring. He’s more reserved if anything, especially considering where he came from before going to Hogwarts. When he’s at school, he highkey has a sarcastic smart mouth and becomes more bold as the series progresses, but from what others have said, he shows his personality shows more in the books.
yea harry was way more snarky an sarcastic in the books, had 0 time for anyone's bullshit lol as for why he was not doing magic with his wand all the time, it takes a LOT of practice to get a spell right and getting it wrong can be disastrous and detrimental to what you need. harry was built up to being amazing from all thats happened dto him but honestly {from what i recall in the books} he struggled sometimes to study just like any other kid/pre-teen.

GoF is my favorite Harry Potter movie as well. I don't know why it gets so much hate. While I know some stuff from the books was missing, I think it still remains the most entertaining Harry Potter movie.
Seeing y'all rag on one of my favorite movie series is pretty fun. Harry is pretty flat in this movie. Honestly, many book fans regard this one as the weakest adaptation. ALSO, since y'all were asking why Dumbledore was yelling, you should youtube "Dumbledore asked calmly." Because he has no chill in this movie, which is not like the book at all.
RIP Dame Maggie Smith, Professor McGonagall we raise our wands to you 🪄
