The sitting rules sound like how they thought us how to sit for an interview in that one class in highschool, there was even a bit about having your palms down on your legs if you get sweaty hands so you’re not seen wiping your hands when getting up to shake hands at the end
According to classic manner guidelines that I know of, you're supposed to sit straight and basically not use the back of your chair, yes. It also makes sense when you put your bag behind you on the seat of the chair, which you should do instead of putting it on the ground or table (unless there is a better place for it, of course). I also once saw a video explaining that you're supposed to stir your tea back and forth instead of in circles, to avoid the spoon clinking against the cup. Overall, I totally agree with you: It's always good to be considerate of others, but don't forget to have fun!

i guess its more about "sitting elegant" 😅 you're more likely to sink down if you lean into the chair, this would look more slouchy and that's the thing you are supposed to avoid i mean, i will sit more straight up, if i sit a bit away from the back of the chair tbh 😅 but yes, it is uncomfortable 😂
Honestly I wanted to go the New York Fashion show. But couldn't due certain circumstances also question? Since New York is hosting BTSSB Fashion week. Do you need to wear BTSSB Lolita products only? Or could I wear other Lolita brands and accessories to go to the Lolita Fashion in New York? 🤔

There was no requirement for this specific show to wear any lolita items. It tends to vary from show to show though!
