Pro tip: if you are a new passer and unsure of your path, litigate. Mas ok mag mukhang tanga sa court pag cute ka pa. Then you will find out if it’s for you.

Hi Bea! USC is a great school! My mom also went to that school! Haha, I get what you mean! It's great that young lawyers-to-be are seeing the importance of work-life balance this early. Personally, I think law practice is more difficult than law school, but at least you can control your life like your hours, you can choose an easier job, etc. I'll make a video on this! I am very, very introverted person but I love debates and I strongly believe that I will have to take the path of litigation under my notion that it will satisfy the heck out of me but I am introverted, super. You can see me not talking for weeks but if I am in a debate in school (which I always enjoy doing), you can see me becoming lively as if I have been resurrected from a near death experience that resulted a coma and soon a disability to speak for weeks. My english teacher even once told me that I have the ability to debate and become a lawyer because I have the potential to become really intimidating when I speak especially when I become opinionated over a thing that I am passionate about talking. Maybe my introversion is just about meeting the right people in a right company in a right location and it might help me to shock the potential opponent for underestimating my introversion.

HI ATTY. TINA, CAN U DISCUSS NEXT TIME ABOUT CRIMINAL LAWYER? , the INs and Outs of criminal law/lawyer. What to look for in a criminal lawyer? Tips how to get a good criminal lawyer or what not or what else. Their secrets maybe dark or light secrets if you will. And do you have statistics on how many are engaging in criminal law practice? I think there are not too many bec. its one of the most tedious law practice right? Or maybe i'm wrong too 😆😆😆

It is stated in Article 1932 that "If the agent dies, his heirs must notify the principal thereof, and in the meantime adopt such measures as the circumstances may demand in the interest of the latter."
However, what if the agent doesn’t have an heir and the principal has no means to know that his agent passed away? Also, this agent passed away due to a fortuitous event and was not declared dead, making him a missing man. What will the course of action be of the government to protect the principal if such a case happens?

Hello Atty. Tina! Thank you for this! Can you make a video about the things you can and can't do as lawyer. I'm an artist and I have tattoos covering my arm and I was wondering if that would lessen my chances of becoming a lawyer someday or getting accepted into law school.
Hello! Good video idea! Thanks, I'll add that to my list :) No restrictions as to tattoos naman. I know lots of lawyers with tattoos. Also, if you watched the video, my brother has a full arm sleeve of tattoos. He's in Ateneo Law and is a dean's lister... so having tatts is really not a hurdle :)

after OLA, i knew litigation is not for me. i feel like i don't have as much confidence as other people have. but up to now, i'm still not sure which field of law i would like to focus on haha i guess i'll think about that after bar na.

Litigation lawyers play the hard ball game in the field as opposed to lawyers that prefer the manager's office.

Hello! Cybersecurity is a sub-specialization of/ sub-topic under litigation :) So as long as you go to a law firm which accepts litigation work (most law firms do), they would likely accept cybersec cases as well. :) In the Phils, it's not practiced widely enough that there are law firms with separate cybersecurity departments na.

Kapatid, practice talking to a mirror or read your favourite book or comic book and then practice speaking like those characters in a comic book.

Yes, it is. The regular/day program (for non-working students) is 4 years long, with classes starting in the morning. The night program (for working students) is 5 years long, with classes starting in the evening. Very ideal!
Growing up, I’ve always wanted to be a litigator. But a high school teacher of mine introduced me to the ethereal world of science, now I want to a cardiothoracic surgeon. I’m still in High School tho. I’m torn between law and medicine... I want to practice both. 🤧
You can definitely be both! My Special Proceedings prof was both a lawyer and doctor 🙂
