In Bhagwad Gita Krishna explains Karma (Action) as mainly of 4 types
1)Vikarma : actions in wrong direction , they are purely egoistic , it is done compulsively , it is result of our past conditioning of mind and body . It is result of our limited identification . Vi karma leads to further entanglement , confusion and struggle and incompleteness in life . It builds huge karmic structure which will have its consequences in this or later lifes.
    2) Akarma: these are actions that are done and regulated by nature . for eg Digestion , excretion , reflex action etc
3)Sakarma : these are rightful actions done towards one's fulfillment of desire. These karma motivates us because it gives us happiness , money , good health and social life . However these karma too generates fruits but good ones . It also comes from one's incompleteness . It does not not dismantle our karmic structure . Moksha (liberation from cycle of life and birth) is not possible coz good fruits accumulated through sakam karma has to be eaten in next birth. But there is no guarantee that in next birth too we will do good karma .
4)Nishkam Karma : Krishna says this is the highest karma one can do in material world . It comes out of one's completeness of life . one becomes unattached to the result of the outcome. In Nishkam karma one gets fully dissolved in the process of life itself . Complete devotion , focus , concentration incessantly is required for this. It requires selfless service that dissolves our karmic structure. Once karmic structure is dissolved of bubble of material body gets dissolved one gets freedom from the cycle of birth and death . This is Nirvana . This is ultimate freedom or liberation or enlightenment . OM NAMAH SHIVAY

Wow, thank you so much for this very well thought out comment! I love what you say in the depiction of Nishkam Karma about becoming dissolved in the act of life. This, as Sadhguru says, is the meaning of life itself! That there is no meaning, but to live fully and wholly and with love in our hearts!

Sadhguru has talked in depth about ghosts and his encounter and in a way, his relationship with them in Sadhguru Exclusive. You should definitely check those out. As far as I've heard him talk about those, he says he's worked a lot with bodiless beings. Also, from what I've gauged and what he himself says, Sadhguru only speaks about things he's experienced. He doesn't quote any scripture and the word Sadhguru itself means an uneducated Guru

What he is said to be disrupting is this whole process of rebirth so that we can dissolve as a part of everything. The air which he is talking about is the blissful body that is a part of everything. Karmic energy is the thing that blocks the bliss body from dissolving to the cosmos. So if we completely destroy the blockage of karmic energy, then we can simply become everything or in other words, the infinite. And the most interesting thing is that if we don't have a karmic structure anymore, then there is no time. Because time is a consequence of the physical.

Loved what you said about interpreting it as the soul being just a part of the entire "bliss body". Made a lot of sense there.
The bubble / cup analogy is the best way to look at it. Upon death we release our mortal shells. But youre right, what is the karmic body? This is likely the body and mind that accumulates ego while it exists in this "physical realm" existing in this limited existence. This whole episode is just blowing my mind. Karma means Action. It's a concept in Hinduism, which decides what type of a life you will live based on your previous life. Actions in physical realm, actions in thoughts decide if you are worthy of becoming Human. Human beings are the highest life form on our planet. If a human does bad actions then he may be reduced to a lower life form in the next life. Similarly if a lower life form lives its life as its supposed to be, it can have a shot at becoming Human. So it was said, that being born Human is the greatest experience on our planet. I've simplified it but it's more complex than that. It's honestly amazing that people living more than 5000 years ago thought of such things. Maybe they're right? Who's to say.

    • @LearnWithUsOriginals
      @LearnWithUsOriginals  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Mmmm very thought-provoking! I always get twisted up when we say humans are the highest life form because who really know! Maybe an octopus has a far crazier experience of life than we could ever imagine! But I agree that being human is just incredible so could very well be. These comments about Hinduism have peaked my interest I would love to learn more

    • @dhirajmalapati369

@@LearnWithUsOriginals Humans are literally the only beings who can touch the supreme consciousness. Some other beings can sense it, most of all The Cobra. But none can connect with it. It's our biology that allows us to do so. No other creature can do the things we can. For all other animals, if survival is taken care of they're content. But for us thats just a basic necessity. We've evolved past the line called Survival. You and I are able to have this complex discussion because of our evolution. I'm not saying that all othee animals are beneath us in terms of our biology. If all humans die tomorrow Earth wont be affected,in fact it'll thrive. But if all insects and plants die, Earth cannot sustain Life. But in terms of connecting with Supreme Consciousness or attaining Enlightenment, we're far superior than anything, that's a fact.
Edit : This is all on on our planet, life on other planets could be born enlightened. Who knows?..

    • @LearnWithUsOriginals
      @LearnWithUsOriginals  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@dhirajmalapati369 I actually would disagree! None of us can know what is going on in the life of another human, never mind the life of another plant or animal! Have you ever noticed that teachers like Sadhguru always say that we should move toward a state of being fully this life force inside of us? To be the thing we are fully, and stop getting in the way of that: this is what Sadhguru and others tell us to do to become closer to enlightenment. Is this not how we see plants and animals go about their time? Just being and existing, so I think it is prideful in many ways to say we are superior in terms of enlightenment or spiritual capabilities. Yes, we do have amazing gifts that are different than other beings, as they have different gifts than us as well. But, that does not mean we have a higher purpose than them. What purpose could be higher than living a fulfilled, loving, and connected life with the natural world? This is what we see the plants and animals do all around us.

    • @dhirajmalapati369
      @dhirajmalapati369 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@LearnWithUsOriginals That's my point too. Other creatures do not feel the need to connect to consciousness. Whether they're already in sync or have no idea about it is another matter but we are not in sync. It's just like swimming, some animals already know from birth but we have to learn it. The same applies to this. Because we are not in sync by default we have these capabilities to enable us to do so. I personally think all other creatures have no idea of such higher concepts. If all beings are same there is no difference between germs, worms and us. Except size and intelligence. Natural world is just the physical world, what you see and hear and touch. It's an illusion, an ant experience s the natural world differently than us.The whole point is to escape this physical existence and merge with the source cause this natural world is temporary. Yes, we have to live consciously, lovingly and peacefully but these are not the highest states of being. Liberation of the so called soul is the highest calling. But we are all allowed to think whatever we want so let's agree to disagree if you don't feel me.

Karma in simplest form means “You reap what you sow”
Well what Sadhguru is talking about karmic structure is our body, it(our body) is like this because of some action done in some other time, like past life.
In our understanding, this is the 84th creation, so there’s enormous amount of Karma or memory or action stored in us. A yogi or a person on spiritual path is aiming at how to break this cycle and become one with everything.

Long ago an elder tried to explain what happens when you die. He took a clay pot and said this is you. The pot breaks(ie, you die) and the air(energy) inside the pot and the air(energy) outside become one. According to him, the air is filled with life energy which we breathe in and out. That energy enters a piece of earth(body) because the physical body allows this energy to see(eyes), taste(tongue), all the senses basically. When the body breaks, the energy goes back into the atmosphere.

For every lifetime, a life has a allocated karma that one has to go through. This allocation is from a whole warehouse of karma that a piece of life has GATHERED over millions of lifetimes. Once ur done experiencing what was in store for this life, you will move on and experience the next ALLOCATION of karma the warehouse. The goal of the spiritual path is to experience the whole warehouse and dissolve it without adding anything to it further. That is the outer layer of the bubble He’s talking about. Dismantle the outer sheet that makes you feel like an individual and dissolve into EVERYTHING.

For foreigners, think of Karma as flow of energy.
Like if you throw a stone in a pond waves are created.
This universe is full energy which can neither be created nor be destroyed but can only transformed into other forms( according to physics).
So with this energy we are created, all your actions ,thoughts create a wave (Karma) in the energy field, so waves always travel and doesn't simply disappear.
Like a person has intense desire to do something but his physical body died, but the Karma(wave of energy) is still there and it won't dissipate until your desire is satisfied.

Then came the spiritual phase where you can be anything but mix with spirituality you involve with the physical world and spiritual world in positive way . Thats why gurus were there to keep adults in line who are responsible for making the environment for existing and future generation’s phase one and for themselves too . I think Sadhguru has used this analogy, but see it as bubbles you blow. The air is captured in the bubble. Once the bubble collapses, the air within the bubble merges back into the air of the environment. For most people, when the soul leaves the body, you become 'souless', but we commonly refer to it as, you are dead. The body stops with its processes and perishes quickly. However there are a small number of people whose soul escapes out of the body and merges back in (near death experience). They do it unconciously. And if I have to believe the yogis, which I'm not sure of, there are people who can conciously do it through high level op meditation. They leave their body for sometimes days, weeks and come back. I remember there was a kid called the Buddha kid, who was recorded while being in meditation for so long. But there are a few more recorded examples.

Karma is like a mould , whether it is bad or good . It holds the identity , without Karma there is only Brahman . When you break this Karmic structure you become one with the ultimate. We all are defined by the our Karma and we can not escape it.

Katma means actions which intern effect your thoughts and others thoughts which will surely effect your life and further lives. Karma is nothing but causality in a complex form than what we perceive it...
In india we do so many rituals to make the soul peaceful after death... And God's knowledge (Bhagavd Gita) to humans will also be played or read near the dead body so that the soul can understand the body is not it's anymore it has to move on to the other body..
    A famous sloka in it.
' those that born has to die and those that died has to born again'.

@@LearnWithUsOriginals Yes, you must break the life cycle. Because you are being born means you are born to pay for your karmas in the past life... And when you break this cycle then only you ll know the truth of this creation in it's entirety, because you ll be mixed in the Paramatma (the ultimate soul) only few can do this, not even Sadhguru if he would've done he wouldn't be born, and even God has to go through Karma example Lord Krishna at the end of his Avatar killed mistakenly in the hand of a hunter because of bad karma...

The part that you are looking for is Karma for each birth is allotted so if that allotted karma is not burnt the person soul hangs till it dissolves and then it will be ready to seek another womb unless one breaks it all and get enlightened then you choose either to be reborn or not as it may be appropriate. But others will have karma established and from current and some hangover from previous births etc... to be reborn and burn it. Hope that helps in the direction you were looking for?? So Karma is basically your actions not only physically but how you live, how blissful are you and how much materialistic desires you have decides whether you have increased your karma in this birth Or decreased it, if you do your karma (actions) without any greed Or intention of getting something desired out of it for your own pleasure then you are increasing your karma, and if you abstain from desires like sexual, food materials evil desires then you reduce your karma as you as a being have less desires so less karma to go endlessly into new bodies, so living like this you can attain mukti Or liberation from the cycle of rebirth and this concept is highly probable bcoz many indian sages did their liberation in front of people that means without any aid from outside they just disappeared (disolved) not suicide just samadhi( death through withdrawing energies of body not by physically hurting yourself that's the way of dissolution as it's completely your will when to go even sadhguru's wife did it you should watch it(

In order to understand Karma , and to know deeper aspects of life in a much clearer sense, read
    Sadhguru 's book - KARMA
There he writes in depth about it and reading it will sure make a lot of things become much clearer....
But he says that Karma is the residual memory of the actions that one commits ( physical, mental, energetic) .
It will be hard to understand,in this way...Just try reading the book and you will see....
It is written with a sense of so much clarity

Getting enlightened is like going through death and being born .
Enlightened beings r also called as dwijas which means being born the 2nd time or 2nd birth.
They have experienced what it is to die ,and that's why they have this clarity .
And yes OSHO has said this that once ur chakra (Agna) in between the eyes is activated u can see the subtle beings.
And sadhguru in some of his books he has said that he has dissolved many many subtle beings ,in his book "Mystic musings ".
    Also
Sadhguru has said that death is a joke but only if u get it , I think what he means is that only the personality which we carry as ourselves dies and there is something which never dies it's just a witness and to realize that experienceally is enlightenment.

He says mind is physical in the sense that you ditch it when you die. Physical, mental and energy bodies are all the stuff you shed when you leave this birth. It is supposed to be the other two bodies that are capable of continuing the journey. If your mind, energy and physical bodies are in working condition and aren't damaged then you can be happy. 1st three conditions to happiness lol. That's why yoga exists. And I'm not just talking about asanas (Physical postures) that most people in the west call yoga. Asanas are just 1 out of eight parts of yoga.

From what I understand and have gathered Karma is basically action like in the form of thoughts , your judgements ,the afflictions you may have caused to someone .It can also be Good Karma like perhaps providing for people taking care of them etc etc.Now all this put together creates a Karmic Structure and if you happen to have an understanding of death and rebirth when you reincarnate what happens is you are blessed with another life where you can face the consequences of your actions be it good or bad and then again accumulate Karma again in this life .So once you break this Chain which can happen via Meditation Yoga where you get enlightened you are basically getting rid of the cycle of death and rebirth or in other words breaking the Karmic Structure .You gotta understand that we are spiritual beings living a Bodily life and not the other way round .So Body is basically a kind of bondage or limitation and soul is that fragment which is free from all things and never dies .

So we have built soooo many bubbles one inside another over so many births and you keep taking births again n again until u burst the final bubble. And the moto of being on spiritual path is to burst all the bubbles and become one with the existence and that's what liberation or realisation is...

Guys, mental body is just not the mind powered by your brain. There is more to that. It consists of all the memories. Here he is quoting from the Upanishads backed by his own experience. Upanishads are also experiential realization of yogis who came before him. All yogis ultimately come to the same realization. Basically, when you listen to great yogis including Sadhguru describing life, they say the same thing. Because that is life and they have realized it. They only differ in the ways about handling the physical surrounding for your day to day life. The bliss body is the soul. When it has the "I" consciousness that comes from karma, it is called Atman/Atma or individual soul. But when that cocoon is broken, the bliss body dissolves in cosmic bliss and becomes the "paramatma" or eternal ultimate bliss. You should also read Sadhguru's books on death and on karma.

    Namaskaram brothers 🙏
So when we say karma what it means is the "action", whos action? Obviously your actions. In our life situations we are performing so many karma or actions. Actions not in terms of what job you do or how you arrange a living for you, karma in terms of everything - whatever you do like talking, eating, thinking, interacting with people etc just about anything. So when you perform all your karmas consciously then dissolution of karma starts happening or we can say you are in the path of liberation.... whatever you do you do on the basis of what is needed, not what you want only. But if you perform your actions compulsively then generation of new karma starts happening, now you can't get liberation, you must be back again to the world to dissolve all these warehouse of karma. So when I say compulsive action that means, let's say somebody likes to drink coffee, now there is nothing bad about drinking coffee. But when somebody becomes like I can't do without coffee that is compulsiveness, like your and slave to the so liberation is not possible. When you become more and more conscious then you clearly see what you have to do or not to do with your actions, and slowly you overcome all the compulsiveness what we you have within. now when body goes, there is no substantial karma or action left, so bliss body can't stand by itself without the structure of preserved karma, now it will simply dissolve with everything.
Please inform me if you understood.
    Pranam 🙏

    Here's my best shot:
Karmic body would be our physical form that was conceived when we first became a zygote (the sperm fertilizing the egg becomes the origin of our karmic body). Karma is simply cause and effect and the cause of us being made was two people making love and then nourishing us as we continue to form. If we think of the karmic body in that way, then the "essence/air" and non-physical components that got trapped within the karmic body is what we're trying to understand better.
Releasing yourself from the physical realm is a spiritual person's path because they want to better understand the whole that their essence/air comes from. Of course we know we can't understand it... but that we can only dissolve into it which would make sense for the analogy of the bubble.
Question/Food for thought #1: if you were a white piece of paper in a all-white cosmos with no other colors, how would you know the cosmos and you share the similarity of being white? I think that's the heart of the reason why its so difficult to get there even for the spiritual people that dedicate their lives to understanding this.
Question/Food for thought #2: At what point is the "air" the same? Is it constantly changing? Does part of the karmic body become dissolved at times to allow changes in the internal "air"? I think it most likely has some sort of fluctuation similar to the karmic body, just that it takes a lot more time to change because it has so many layers of protection.

Oh jeez, that all has my brain jumbled in a good way! Could mean I’m intellectualizing this too much haha. I especially liked your first question. You wanna know about KARMA.
Sadhguru himself has written a book called KARMA. It is available online everywhere. It is also available as audio book in you tube. You can check it out and explore what he has to say. I personally haven't fully read it yet. But partially tried it and it is very interesting. So clear and so in depth. And the intensity that he digs in and describes it is so phenomenal.
There are so much information about Karma, about cause and effect, about reward and punishment, but Sadhguru describes it to be much more and much deeper, broader, bigger than what one normally says it to be.
What he says here about the karmic process is that the karmic process is the reason why ones physical, mental and energetic body are holding on to each other. And a spiritual seeker is trying to disrupt it (karmic process/Karmic cycles) totally, end the karmic process totally so that there is no more holding onto these things and going into becoming one with all and everything.
To put it just simply and generally - Karma is the unconscious software that is written by one's own being. (To have this physical existence)

Karma is action ... as you know, but karma as a concept cant be sumup in one word ...lets see you the actions one take be it good or bad will accumulat as ones karma .. and the more of this karmic memory one hold the more they will be traped with the physical entity... and as a result Trapped into the cycle of rebirth. . And constant loops of lifes ones a person realises that they are running constantly on a treadmill they will stop eventually.. so that it where spirituality works .. through working on these one can get a relese from constant and endless loops and finally be one with the universe...

As per Hinduism, Karma means your action. Every action, whether physical or mental has repercussions .. on you and around. All this adds up.. and gets passed on to your next birth. This adds up to the last 7 births. You get blessed for the good deeds and punished for the bad ones. Karma determines how you are born, where you are born and what your life will turn out to be. You can repair your Karma by doing good in the current birth. Once you complete your cycle of emptying your Karmic pot , your soul goes back to its origin-God.

I enjoy watching you and appreciate the young mind like you all examining the teachings of Sudhguru. And perhaps, you can also go on exploring other Indian spiritual teachers like J. Krishnamurti, Osho, etc. But never forget to explore into yourselves. And here I’d like to add on my humble views:
The day-to-day human minds and brains grew up in the current human materialistic society. Our mind is filled with ceaseless materialistic desires and pursuits. Being caught within this physical realm, we’re in the dark prison of materiality, and enjoying and suffered in this kind of man-made social environment. Our minds are collectively working at the different intellectual levels within the realm of materiality, and can’t move further into the realm beyond materiality.
The metaphysical or mythical language or terminologies used by the mystics, Sudhguru, or the other mystics or ancient sages use, like the Buddha or Adi Shankara Acharya, are out of our current materialistic set of minds.
For 2 or 3 centuries in human history, human has focused so much on material developments. We put our physical and intellectual energy into developing our tools, vehicles, trains, cars, roads, airplanes, petroleum, gases, or fuels to uplift human life on the material side. But inwardly we’re emptied. The innermost of our existence can’t be totally filled or being satisfied with material wealth.
At the present time in human history, the crises awake us to the current reality that we’re facing with the immense calamities, natural or man-made like pandemic and imminent wars. It is the time we need to explore our own inner world. The inner world exploration (spirituality) needs both time and energy equal to that we put to acquire the material side of life.
Wishing all of you the best.

Knowledge of mechanics of life leads to knowledge of Death, The trick is to not separate the two and see it as a seamless passage from one to another. When the body is enhanced to certain capabilities, seeing and hearing things becomes very normal. Its is very clearly stated that when Anahata(4th chakra) awakens, you start hearing instruments which I know to be true because I have heard it. Then the Visshudhi gives even more access to seeing and hearing more things you didn't think possible. During meditation I've heard enough screaming and nonsensical voices. I've stopped giving a fuck long ago even though normal people will be shit scared of it. The third eye truly allows one to 'SEE' but I have never seen any ghost as of yet...just heard. Hi Mitch and Ely,
We generally don't discuss this in details much in public but if you guys are really interested to find out what really happens when we die, then you can dig deeper in the eastern belief system. According to our Vedic/Yogic knowledge of a Human Body, we all are is primarily made up of 5 Energies or Vayus (in Sanskrit). So when we die these energies exit our body one by one rendering it devoid of life.
    1. Prana Vayu
That which affects the Chest and Head and is responsible for controlling our Respiratory and Brain Function. Once it exits the body the Pulmonary functions stop and our thought process dies.
    2. Samana Vayu
That which affects the Navel and is responsible for controlling our Body Heat/Temperature. With its exit our Body becomes cold and stiff.
    3. Apana Vayu
That which affects the Pelvis and is responsible for controlling our Sensory Functions. In absence of which our body makes sudden movements (twitching/farting/penile erection) even after death.
    4. Udhana Vayu
That which affects the Throat and is responsible for maintaining Buoyancy and Gravity. With its exit our Body becomes heavy (the reason why we don't feel our actual weight while we are still alive, but with the same weight our body becomes heavy after we die.)
    5. Vyana Vayu
That which affects the living body as a whole and is responsible for the Preservation of our Body. With its exit the rotting process starts.
After death the discriminatory intelligence hover around the body of a dead person and will go away in stages. Hence in our culture we burn a dead body within 14 days of its death in order to save the soul for eternity. Hope this will help you understand our eastern mindset.

      @LearnWithUsOriginals  3 ปีที่แล้ว

yooo thanks for sharing those insights. Fascinating, all the different ways in which we have found to understand the death process. Love the details in this and it makes me curious what types of observations were made to come to these conclusions. LOVE hearing this type of stuff cause it always opens us up to new ways of thinking.
What I don't understand, however, is how burning the body would save a soul? is it because all of those energies are still within it?

    • @archer7199
      @archer7199 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@LearnWithUsOriginals I'm glad you liked this ancient Vedic/Yogic knowledge. You see in Yoga Sutra all these energies were studied in much details for some thousands of years and were then written down for posterity.
You will be happy to know that Surgery was first performed in our country way back in 800 BC by a Physician named Sushruta. His teaching of anatomy, pathophysiology and therapeutic strategies were of unparalleled luminosity especially considering his time in the historical record. His record keeping document Sushruta Samhita is still very influential in nature in Modern Medicine and Surgery. Sushruta’s theories about medicine is supported not only by anatomical knowledge and surgical procedural descriptions contained within its pages, but by the creative approaches that still hold true today. You can google him out if you like.
Our ancestors gave us Number System, Astronomy, Navigation, Yoga and Ayurveda with some mind blowing applications in modern times.
Also to save the soul we burn the body in order to prevent the same from being used by any unwanted spirt or dark energy. We are not so very fond of Zombies you see.

Read the book 'The Souls Plan' by Robert schwartz or watch his videos. How in between lives the next birth contract happens with other souls. How we plan the challenges, lifes lessons, how karma fits in for balancing energy. So i guess after physical body dies we go to other realms (spirit world) for sometime. We still may retain our astral body. Total dissolution may happen once we balance out all the energies and workout our karmas. Prior to that it would be to break the cycle of rebirth. One takes rebirth because of pending karma, also to learn few divine lessons or if one is enlightened just to help other people like ascended masters do. My little understanding. Still learning

We as humans have had this idea that we are superior than every living thing. We believe we are the end all and be all. The problem is we have have followed doctrines that only benefit the few and restrict people by fear.Life is not a gift, it is. Our energy is the gift, because the minute we are born we begin to die. The thought you have is only an accumulation of what you have learnt from the outside, but have you actually looked at what you are inside. We are animals, we are born we procreate and die, the DNA follows the path. What happens to you when you die. You are recycled into the earth you came from. What happens to the energy, it is released, you will not be A New Dream, you will be part of what was always. You have no form you have no body and you have no thought of your own.
