I used to hate cleaning until i minimized my belongings. Before it would take hours on my day off, so i didnt want to be doing it, i thought there would always be better ways to spend my time hehe. so, i thank you for this reminder. sometimes i think that when i am washing a load of dishes. i am grateful to have running water and nice dishes and pots to cook with and eat from. its funny how just about anything can be spun around by a perspective of gratitude.

Lately I have found the most efficient way to clean my wood floors, is to use a soft broom, dust and pan plus mopping with damp mop. In fact, it is cleaner than using a vacume cleaner. Although I have a super efficient one. Presently, this lives in my Swiss cellar. Find warmish water, a soft cloth and apple cider (a bit) vinegar in warm water, cleans well. No streaking on glass at all. Also gets rid of grime. My Swiss apartment is a nice ground floor studio. Live in a delightful area. Between the city and Zurich Airport. It is very easy to clean and neighbours are delightful. Am also grateful for my studio, my excellent health at 67 and my happy secure life, I have here in Switzerland. Thanks for all the enjoyable videos you produce. Always enjoy listening to your soothing voice. It brings me much joy. Kindest greetings from Zurich.

I love the idea of giving thanks and being grateful for having a home to clean. I have 2 small children and one big Labrador plus hubby and I find I’m so frustrated as I can’t keep on top of the housework no matter how hard I try and I’m beginning to loathe cleaning. But watching this and listening to your wise words have helped me to see that I’m grateful to actually have a home and be able to do housework ❤️
Yes you got it! We will never be able to catch up with everything.. even the people who look like they have everything sorted don't! You just do your best and the gratitude makes it easier to do the cleaning that is needed to keep the home fresh.
It’s frustrating when you’re the minimalist who needs order and cleanliness, while the rest of the family, well, doesn’t quite walk the same path. I’ve learned to take care of the spaces that are exclusively mine (my room, my car, and my office cubicle), and tolerate (or sigh and just leave the room) the rest. Yes, I dust, sweep, etc, but it rarely looks like it. I need to embrace the “gratitude attitude”, and try to instill that in my family.
I understand the struggle!!! I have a husband, two kids, and two big Labradors!!! The housework is literally never-ending! One of my labs is a horrid shedder! The other one only sheds small amounts all year round. My vacuum gets a lot of use.
Let It Roll Dogs are family too!!! Us dog people love our dogs like we love our kids and would never abandon them simply to make our lives a little easier!!!
Nice video. I live in Peru on a small organic farm wirh a donkey, alpacas, turkeys, chickens,rabbits , guinea pigs and 2 dogs. My floors are very important to keep clean. I need to get screens for my windows becsuse i dong like bugs in my house I also find bringing in flowers from the garden is wonderful. Clean windows so i can gaze on rhe ancient Inti Huantana mountain crowned with the Inca Pisac ruins is a. Spiritual experience!
I love how realistic your videos are. It’s not about keeping up with everyone else and how they do things but what works for you! As a stay at home mama I find that I often compare my home to others but I’m doing the best that I can for my family and the environment!

I LOVE CLEANING! its something I have always enjoyed....a fresh clean home....I make my cleaning purposeful....I clean with the intention of cleansing all stagnant energies away, washing away any negativity that may have developed during the day...I give gratitude to our home and honor it for being our protector during storms, protecting us while we sleep, protecting us from weather, keeping us safe when we come home from work.....anything involving our home is done with deliberate good intentions

I love your attitude of loving your home. I have wooden floors downstairs and clean them using 2 pints warm water, 2 tablespoons olive oil plus some drops of essential oils. I mop the floor and let it dry then buff it up with a clean dry mop. Your end up nourishing the floor plus having a lovely smell from the oils. I have recently starting by doing a little cleaning every day so it does not become a chore. So much easier!

Yes..I gained a new way of looking at housework: as being grateful for the roof I have ..being grateful for the house. Really more inspiring than most things I've heard lately. Thank you for sharing😊- so true to look at it as being grateful for what you have and caring for it. I am pretty much using water to clean my home- adding vinegar or baking soda when needed. I now wash the outside of my toilets using an old rag with a bucket of water with a few drops of dish detergent, wiping it dry right after. No paper towels, no cleaner. I will be making your toilet bowl tabs as well. I used to use wood dusting spray. Not anymore. Damp rag followed by a dry one. 👍
This is probably the most peaceful cleaning video I've seen thus far. I love the notion of cleaning to show appreciation and gratefulness for your home instead of seeing it as a chore. I think I'll be implementing this into my daily life from now on.
I love keeping my home clean. It's very satisfying. It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes at the very most (15 minutes daily is better) to keep our homes fresh, clean and tidy
I love and appreciate Monica’s comments. Having a sanctuary is so important in a stressful world. We can be more loving and comforting and helpful to our world if we can be nurtured in our homes . And being grateful in our homes is essential. Cleaning is an act of love.
I feel most thankful when I change the bed linen. It is wonderful to fall asleep in the fresh sheets. I also like open the bedroom window in the morning. I wash our rag rugs in summer with pine soap and in the winter I roll them in the snow when we have severe frost. I love it! And every evening I clean our kitchen and it is ready for the next day. Something little for every day ❤
I love all your tips. I'm incorporating them more and more. I use to HATE to clean and put it off as much as possible but since I changed my attitude I really look forward to it and I'm so proud of myself for a job well done....and of course the big pay off is a beautifully clean home.
Another beautiful video. I like laundry. There's something nurturing to my soul about caring for my clothes, my partner's clothes, and the cloth items we use for our home (sheets and towels and so on). I have everything on a schedule, and I do one load a day. It's gratifying.

I've just subscribed. You have lovely comforting videos. I really liked seeing that you put boiling water and then essential oils onto your cleaning mop. I love that! I want to incorporate your idea into my home cleaning. Also I love how grateful you are when cleaning. Sometimes I find I'm griping about how I JUST cleaned the dishes and how did the sink get full yet again?! But then I remind myself how lucky I am to even have a family to clean up after, how I have a roof over my head, how I'm fortunate to be able to stay home now and take care of things in my home. When I think like that, I'm so so grateful and thankful. It just changes one's entire attitude to peace and ease.

I enjoy cleaning and tidying up and find doing a little every day makes less work in the end. I am grateful to have the health and ability to maintain my home and enjoy the movement of the chores. A home and health is a beautiful gift and I will treasure mine. Blessings on your home!
About my home routines: 1. I do the regular stuff: dishes, laundry, vacuuming. These are barely the only things I am using detergents (self-made, natural). Because these are things I get directly in contact, so they must be sterile to a certain level. 2. I must do extras like: decrust the oven, wipe the floor, clean the bathroom and toilet. These things are a bit harsher, I need more discipline to get myself into. Or I just melt in order to become one so I don't feel the pain or I try to make those things more attractive by essential oils etc, favourite clothes specific approaches, mental training etc. 3. A rare, but most important issue is declutter and crapping out. Today I did some good decluttering around my candle shelf and some other areas at the same time. It seems to be the most difficult task, but in the end the greatest success. When I am reminding myself of things I have and things I sort out so I can share them and give them away instead of letting them rot. At least someone else will get the chance to use things, that would have only been burdening me otherwise. This pain really teaches me to refrain from purchases in the future and will make me even more minimalistic and thrifty with expenditures. 🌻🍁

I love to keep our shower glass clean. We remodeled our bathroom after 16 years and did the work ourselves except for installing the three panels of glass for the shower which was quite expensive to do so I am grateful we could. To keep that in mind I clean it after every use so it looks brand new.

I love cleaning! I only use salt (thanks for that tip, by the way), home-made citric vinegar, baking soda and water. No towel paper to dry surfaces, just old re-used rags. What I do is to put my favourite music on, and sing along while dusting, sweeping, mopping... In other words, I enjoy the present moment and myself while cleaning my humble home
Lovely video, and a great way of looking at cleaning. I'm currently using vinegar to clean my kitchen surfaces, I find it smells very strong, but when it goes away it takes away all other odours with it, which is fab. I've always used reusable cloths for cleaning, and I love the feeling of washing surfaces down, I find it really juicy!

I love the idea of showing your house respect by keeping it clean. I hate floors, but I hate dirt more, so I do it. But I must say, I love a clean house. It feels like it’s good for the soul. I love even the title of this video. Minimal cleaning sounds so lovely! I am definitely finding it easier to keep the house clean as I move towards a more minimalistic and sustainable life though. The less stuff I have, the less stuff there is to clean.

Can't get rid of kids. Shouldn't get rid of husband if he's a good one and good father. Dogs are horribly messy...i say lose the dog.

Thank you for sharing😊- so true to look at it as being grateful for what you have and caring for it. I am pretty much using water to clean my home- adding vinegar or baking soda when needed. I now wash the outside of my toilets using an old rag with a bucket of water with a few drops of dish detergent, wiping it dry right after. No paper towels, no cleaner. I will be making your toilet bowl tabs as well. I used to use wood dusting spray. Not anymore. Damp rag followed by a dry one. 👍

This is probably the most peaceful cleaning video I've seen thus far. I love the notion of cleaning to show appreciation and gratefulness for your home instead of seeing it as a chore. I think I'll be implementing this into my daily life from now on.

I love keeping my home clean. It's very satisfying. It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes at the very most (15 minutes daily is better) to keep our homes fresh, clean and tidy
I love and appreciate Monica’s comments. Having a sanctuary is so important in a stressful world. We can be more loving and comforting and helpful to our world if we can be nurtured in our homes . And being grateful in our homes is essential. Cleaning is an act of love.

I feel most thankful when I change the bed linen. It is wonderful to fall asleep in the fresh sheets. I also like open the bedroom window in the morning.
I wash our rag rugs in summer with pine soap and in the winter I roll them in the snow when we have severe frost. I love it!
And every evening I clean our kitchen and it is ready for the next day. Something little for every day ❤

Another beautiful video. I like laundry. There's something nurturing to my soul about caring for my clothes, my partner's clothes, and the cloth items we use for our home (sheets and towels and so on). I have everything on a schedule, and I do one load a day. It's gratifying.

I've just subscribed. You have lovely comforting videos. I really liked seeing that you put boiling water and then essential oils onto your cleaning mop. I love that! I want to incorporate your idea into my home cleaning.
Also I love how grateful you are when cleaning. Sometimes I find I'm griping about how I JUST cleaned the dishes and how did the sink get full yet again?! But then I remind myself how lucky I am to even have a family to clean up after, how I have a roof over my head, how I'm fortunate to be able to stay home now and take care of things in my home. When I think like that, I'm so so grateful and thankful. It just changes one's entire attitude to peace and ease.

I enjoy cleaning and tidying up and find doing a little every day makes less work in the end. I am grateful to have the health and ability to maintain my home and enjoy the movement of the chores. A home and health is a beautiful gift and I will treasure mine. Blessings on your home!

Another very wonderful channel! I LOVE the topic of sustainability and minimalism. It is so enrichening!
About my home routines:
1. I do the regular stuff: dishes, laundry, vacuuming. These are barely the only things I am using detergents (self-made, natural). Because these are things I get directly in contact, so they must be sterile to a certain level.
2. I must do extras like: decrust the oven, wipe the floor, clean the bathroom and toilet. These things are a bit harsher, I need more discipline to get myself into. Or I just melt in order to become one so I don't feel the pain or I try to make those things more attractive by essential oils etc, favourite clothes specific approaches, mental training etc.
3. A rare, but most important issue is declutter and crapping out. Today I did some good decluttering around my candle shelf and some other areas at the same time. It seems to be the most difficult task, but in the end the greatest success. When I am reminding myself of things I have and things I sort out so I can share them and give them away instead of letting them rot. At least someone else will get the chance to use things, that would have only been burdening me otherwise. This pain really teaches me to refrain from purchases in the future and will make me even more minimalistic and thrifty with expenditures.

I love to keep our shower glass clean. We remodeled our bathroom after 16 years and did the work ourselves except for installing the three panels of glass for the shower which was quite expensive to do so I am grateful we could. To keep that in mind I clean it after every use so it looks brand new.

I love cleaning! I only use salt (thanks for that tip, by the way), home-made citric vinegar, baking soda and water. No towel paper to dry surfaces, just old re-used rags. What I do is to put my favourite music on, and sing along while dusting, sweeping, mopping... In other words, I enjoy the present moment and myself while cleaning my humble home

Lovely video, and a great way of looking at cleaning. I'm currently using vinegar to clean my kitchen surfaces, I find it smells very strong, but when it goes away it takes away all other odours with it, which is fab. I've always used reusable cloths for cleaning, and I love the feeling of washing surfaces down, I find it really juicy!

I love even the title of this video. Minimal cleaning sounds so lovely! I am definitely finding it easier to keep the house clean as I move towards a more minimalistic and sustainable life though. The less stuff I have, the less stuff there is to clean.
