6 Ways to Transfer your Property to Children & How to Plan your Inheritance

In this video, I have shared 6 ways to transfer your property to children and how to do your inheritance planning. I have shared methods by which you can transfer property when alive and transfer of property after death. Method discussed are gift deed, family settlement deed, forming a family trust, liquidation / sale of property, joint ownership, transfer of property after death with will and property transfer after death no will.

Sir, If I get a property from my father as inheritance and after some 2-3 years I want to sell it. Then also I have to pay capital gains tax?

What is the cost of registration of a will

There is no stamp duty levied on the registration of a will but states do charge a very nominal registration charge which is a kind of processing fee which varies from state to state. Its a very nominal fee though which ranges from anywhere between Rs.3 to Rs.200. You would have to pay a lawyer though for drafting a will. In total, it shouldn't cost more than 5-7k.
