There's a lot of bad non-vulgar comedians, and there's a lot of bad vulgar ones. Guys like Gaffigan and Bargatze are just naturally good observational humor comedians, whether or not they cussed in their routines or brought up sex every other joke, they're just good, period.

I lived in the Netherlands for 12 years where there are no "real" winters - wearing boots is strictly a fashion statement and you can ride your bicycle year round. I had to explain to my Dutch family about the wonderful sights and smells of the changing seasons in Canada like the hot summers, the burst of colours that come with autumn, snow blanketing everything (making it look dreamlike) and our spring where everything comes life again as well as the distinct smell of dog poo thawing.

@@markmierau5189 Not quite, but still a lot. According to Stats Can, in 2016 66% lived within 100 miles of the border. "Canada has a small population living in a large land area (close to 9 million square kilometres), leading to a low population density compared with other countries. For example, Canada had 3.9 people per square kilometre in 2016, compared with 35.3 people per square kilometre in the United States. The Canadian population, however, is highly concentrated geographically. In 2016, two out of three people (66%) lived within 100 kilometres of the southern Canada-United States border, an area that represents about 4% of Canada's territory."

What does it take to move to Winnipeg? For my great-grandparents, it was the start of the Bolshevik revolution, people on horseback, riding through the streets of Odessa, stabbing and shooting people. As German expats, they were no longer welcome in Odessa. My great-grandmother said they should have moved to Siberia as it would have been a shorter trip for the same result! Family has been in SE Michigan for several decades. A few years ago, I'm talking with a couple co-workers and we discovered that our great-grandparents had all settled in Beausejour, about 60km NE of Winnipeg. Small world, eh?
