I'm actually BUZZING that you used my recipe!!!! Also, that rice was cooked perfectly! You did so well!!! Tip for making it less salty, use less soy sauce. Or, add a little brown sugar to the sauce 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Tiny Head for me personally it’s unsettling bc all i can see is a dead animal rather then just an ingredient but i’ve definitely become more immune to it as everyone else in my house eats meat :)
Girlyyyy, feel free to make the vids longer! More ad space lol. Honestly seemed too short anyway. You put so much work into these, I'd watch a 30 min video of this. That way you can get more in depth too
WorldWarIIGirl reminds me of a sign I read yesterday at the park, it said ‘fishing for disabled’ ~ I thought disabled what and when you catch a disabled what do you do with it 🤷♀️
@@helle.n never been to the UK, but Indian food in America always felt kinda... Off? I don't know what it is, but Indian food in India that your mom cooks with eye-balled ingredients, always tastes superior :)
Vegan edition please 🙌 also are you okay with savory breakfast? Because the most typical Costa Rica breakfast is Gallo Pinto (basically rice and beans)
@@eptiCKz1 yes gallo pinto with scramble eggs and fried plantain, tortilla with cheese and sour cream on top, savory empanadas... And I'm the local vegan that everyone think is a weirdo for eating sweet oatmeal for breakfast 😂😂 but a lot of people eat "pancakes" on weekends (it's not the american pancake)
I LOVE savory breakfast! Especially since giving up animal food. I find very few Americans eat things like rice and beans, curry, etc for breakfast and I really enjoy such foods in the morning.
One thing I love about your videos is who appreciative you and your family are about food and embrace different culture's cuisines. I was born and raised in the UK (London) but come from a multicultural background so naturally grew up eating very diverse foods, my English friends on the other hand (sorry to be generalising) were not very open to trying different flavours and were quite picky with meals. I feel like your channel will help people be more open to embrace different flavours and get out of their comfort zone which is beautiful!
You made my lamb recipe!! I'm really happy! Yes, the lamb was supposed to have the same flavour as the potatoes haha the piece of lamb might've been too large. I usually make some cuts in it, rub the marinate inside as well before putting it in the oven and then turn it in the oven so it's always moist and coated in the sauce as it doesn't completely dry while it cooks. But yes, the potatoes are just amazing
YAASS A NEW VIDEO! you honestly can’t understand how much I love hearing you talk and how badly I’m always looking forward to watch your videos 😭💖 idk what it is about you, but maybe the fact that you’re so awkward and funny but also witty, respectful and extremely brilliant
When you first said bobotie, I was like “oh never heard of that before” then when you showed it, I was like “that’s my favorite dish! South Africa ftw!” The best way to say it is... ba-boo-tee. And yap, looks like you did it perfectly! PS my first ever comment on a TH-cam video!
Please make it into a series! Love seeing so much variety in the recipes! Your cooking skills are on point even if you made little things wrong. Keep up the good work!
Loved this and would LOVE to see more... please create a series! Also your skin is looking GLOWING. And your hair and jumper in the edits were just divine. Honestly you are the best TH-camr out there... please don’t ever change yourself because I love how YOU you are.
YES MORE OF THIS! I recently found your videos and have been BINGING them... like I watch them in the office and at home haha I thought this was such a cool idea and it definitely opened me up to trying out some recipes, like now I definitely want to try these same ones and see what me and my family would think of them so thank you!
Definitely do more videos like this please! You should ask for permission to share the recipes, so we can try them too :D Also I don't think you need to edit down to 20 minutes, I'd be super happy to watch longer videos and am sure most others would be as well!!!
OMG I’m Filipino and I am super impressed how you cooked the rice to PERFECTION!!! And the chicken adobo and mango salsa oh myyyy! Salivating here! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
This was such a fun video! I loved seeing all the different cultures ~ now I want to cook more cultural foods haha. Also you look cute and cozy at 1:33
Love these sorts of recipe/dinner videos. This is going to sound really lame but they make me feel at home as if I'm sitting down to dinner with the Booths, love you Grace!
Omggg Grace I’m from the Philippines and you have NO IDEA how happy I am that you made adobo!! It looked stellar too ❤️❤️❤️ Idk why but it makes me so happy that you guys liked it! AHHHHHHHH
random "chewing chewing all day long" charlie & the chocolate factory song break XD i can't! you're the best, grace. your videos always bring me a smile.
That was crackalacking. Definitely gonna try out the filipino chicken, the mexican soup and the german triangle things :) I’m pretty sure if you make another one like this, most of us would love to watch one twice as long, I wanna see more of each dish! 40 min Grackle vids would be amaaazing
That first recipe looks delicious, want to try it myself! Also if you want more ethnic spices, you normally want to go to a ethnic food store or butchers that are Asian (Indian/Pakistani). As an African that's the only way to get afro/Carribean/Asian spices in London/UK
so happy you did a filipino food 😍😍my nan would be smiling up in heaven right now as you made one of her fave foods minus the mango salsa never eaten that but need to try it xx
I was just about too ask you for the recipes you used in the video. But I look in the description first and saw that you already blessed me with them so thank you will try one or two on my family ❤️
I've never had a good homemade mug cake. Something about them is always dry - even if they're wet, they seem dry. I don't know what it is. Doesn't happen with the store bought my cake mixes though
I love a banana peanut butter brownie mugcake, it's literally just one banana mashed and mixed with two tablespoons of peanutbutter (or other nut butter) and two tablespoons of cocoa powder (I prefer darker than nesquik). I've added a few oats in the past and loved that, but you can also add some chopped nuts. And you can bake it to your preferred texture. I've also made a pb and jelly mugcake that was really good and not dry at all. There are some good mugcake recipes out there!
Ohhhhh my goodness. I love an Aztec soup, but I've only had it in restaurants. I'm so glad that you shared the recipe and I cannot wait to give it a go myself!
Love your videos, especially what you said about having to try cooking/baking over again sometimes to get it right. Nobody’s a master chef out the gate👍🏻
Hey Grace do you think you could ever sing a song. Everytime you sing it actually sounds so pretty, would love to here a full cover, great videos btw, so creative ☺☺!
there’s a vegan recipe we do here in Mexico is really good and you don’t even feel like you’re missing anything when you eat it. It’s called tacos al vapor and it’s a red tortilla with potato and cabbage, you add cream or lemon or sauce to it and it’s delicious
I’m a silent viewer but ive watched just about all of your videos and I just want to say thank you so much for not showing the chicken and for having that forethought and consideration
I saw the adobo and I was like “YASSS GIRL!” If you wanna try other authentic Filipino dishes, I recommend going to the Lutong Pinoy restaurant in Earl’s Court, which is also near the very famous Filipino fast food restaurant Jollibee
Sorry but I really need chicken abodo in my life right now. I’m out this evening but will reply to comments tomoz!
Ooo hope you are doing something nice! ❤️
Gracks come here in the philippines we'll cook you adobo 😂😂
The only chicken you need is my family's simple recipe. It's a family secret though, so you'd have to move to America
You said you dad really loves Philippino food, I’m curious what his take on the chicken dish was. Unless I missed it. Great job on all the dishes!!
I'm actually BUZZING that you used my recipe!!!! Also, that rice was cooked perfectly! You did so well!!! Tip for making it less salty, use less soy sauce. Or, add a little brown sugar to the sauce 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Your hair when you’re doing the disclaimer is so cute!
thank u for considering vegans/vegetarians and not showing the raw meat!! that’s so sweet and considerate i’ve never seen a youtuber do that before 🥺
springchild truuue! They always say ‘vegans look away’ but she doesnt and it’s so nice of her!
Meh, to me nothing wrong with showing raw meat, just an ingredient, and I'm speaking as a vegetarian. I even cut raw meat for my mum if she asks me.
Tiny Head for me personally it’s unsettling bc all i can see is a dead animal rather then just an ingredient but i’ve definitely become more immune to it as everyone else in my house eats meat :)

I loved this video! Would be 100% down for a vegetarian/vegan version aaaaah I'm excited already
Rixt van der Valk yesss I want her to try my gf vegan brownies they’re my faves
Rixt van der Valk yes!!
I think it's better not to show people disordered eating habits. Every food has its own role and cutting out something will cause health problems.
Taimo Tõnisson being veggie/ vegan isn’t a disordered eating habit...
@@lucyx1542 Humans must eat animal origin foods, too. If not it leads to serious health problems, it will.
I love the variety of things you cooked, instead of just doing things that seemed simple
