- "Bajuband Khul Khul Jaye" is one of the most famous and beautiful form of thumri sung typically in Raag Bhairavi.
This recording is from around 1980s. Only information regarding this recording is that this concert took place in Karnataka.
Names of accompanists are not known except Harmonium is by Purushottam Walawalkar.
This was one of Bhimsen Joshi's favourite thumri. He also sang this thumri at Durbar Hall, Laxmi Vilas Palace, Vadodara. There is also a video recording of him singing this thumri at Doordarshan Recording Studio, New Delhi.

Thank you 🙏 I read your previous comment too. You are absolutely right. Do you know ever Mata Nirmala Deviji used to call Bhimsen Joshi for concert. A concert was held in 1985 London, arranged by Sahajyoga only.
@@Bhimmanna Yes, I am in Sahaja Yoga for 30 years. Shri Mataji is my Guru, that is why I feel that bhajan and raga is very deep
@@irkakwiatek1747 I remember 2 concerts of Bhimsen which Mataji arranged : at 1985 London and 1978 Mumbai. These concerts were mostly full of Bhajans and Abhangs. The atmosphere created used to be soo divine ! Mataji believed in effect which music has on our body. Particular ragas at particular time can cure many diseases!
