The issue being here is how will Samsung Ultra keep with these tests after year or so... For iPhones i can confirm they retain exact same performance but my every Ultra ( and Note) was so slow after a couple of months, years compared to the first few weeks...
Whatever Samsung intended for the screen to be in implementation it's pretty bad, especially in person the white point is looks horrible the off axis color shift is poor.
But… that update is already out! At least I’m running it on my S24 which I carry alongside my iPhone 15PM (yes I know I’m weird) I see a new slider for “vivid”.

What are you talking about? Samsung has much more saturated colors. It can be seen in the video with all colors and application icons. Red, green, blue, and even purple is more colorful than the iPhone. It was more yellow on the iPhone and more cool on the Samsung. Thanks to this, the contrast is enhanced even more. Samsung finally has normal colors that are more natural. Although they could add a little more to the reds and greens, but not as extreme as in s23 or s22, which were, on the contrary, extreme. I personally have an s24 plus. In addition, this guy's Samsung has reduced brightness compared to the iPhone

Samsung has never been known by their fluidity or smoothness sadly, frame drops/chopiness are classic standards for TouchWiz/OneUI since forever now. I got an S24U and i still notice some frame drops compared to my previous moto g200 (snap 888+), it's not that bad tho def not a deal breaker
Becuz s24 ultra has anti reflective screen , so u dont any reflections while using it outside , so it makes it little dull but it doesn't bother in daily basis , it just feels normal
I actually use both equally, I used to switch between them. Now I have sims for both samsung and apple. This allows me to make more fair comparisons between them :)

A friend of mine has the 13pro max and it over heats as well and we have both been to the Apple Store 3 times a piece both for screen and battery replacement, but I had an extra visit where my Apple Watch Ultra had an issue with update after a year old. Did new update on watch and two days later I did a soft reset and it didn’t wanna power on.

One thing that I really dislike about the recent Iphones is that the "Pro-motion" not even being 120hz when scrolling, it hovers around the 90-100hz mark. Its only when for some reason, when you're recording your screen does it actually go to 120hz

My opinion it's that someone should go for a S24U bc of the spen. It's all about it. And you need it or not. If you need it as a work tool there's nothing close to it. If you don't, just go for something else. I have an S10+, 12GB, 1TB and the only thing I miss it's the spen from my Note3 bc I really use it everytime.
I’m always switching between iPhone and android every few years. Contemplating switching from the 14pro max to s24 ultra. Still undecided. I can get 1,000$ for trade in though 🤔
The 14PM refreshes at 80/90Hz for the vast majority of the time, that's why the Samsung feels more responsive. S24U jumps straight to 120Hz as soon as you touch the screen.
And I was just put off from upgrading after seeing nothing new that will make the S24 ultra better than my S22 ultra. I use the phone for business and the stylus for notes.
What’s funny is that the iPhone kept beating the Galaxy especially in the heavy tasks (loading games) but it’s last year’s model. The actual most recent iPhone hasn’t had apps updated for it yet, games load slower and apps like Geekbench hang for a long time! It all comes down to optimization lol

Go for it, I went from an s10 to 15 pro max, and it is a noticeable jump in every department, especially the gaming performance, battery, display and camera.
@@jonas870 yeah, even compared to the s10 plus, all the improvements I mentioned will be noticeable, as the only main difference between the regular s10 and the plus is battery life, but the 15 pro max battery life is on a different level.
Samsung needs to optimize all their devices including the A series not only the S to be smooth. Not worth paying +$1000 to get what other phones deliver for half the price like the nothing phone
Other phones don't offer everything the S series offers. What phone do you know offers an ultrasonic fingerprint for budget phones? Samsung has actual flagship features, so you're paying for what you get.
