Mike, like you I’m a big Athlon fan. I was just curious if you have checked out the Heras 15-60x56 yet. Wondering if it to would make a decent 22lr 50 yd benchrest scope. I have the argos 10-40x56 and it does great running it on 36 power to keep it clear.
@@pantherhollow5290I’ve seen Athlon advertise the heras series but there’s nothing on there 15-60x56. If it’s capable of being clear at 50 power it should make a great 50yd bench scope. Hope you get one in to check out. Thanks Mike for the great work and keeping us informed on new equipment and quality. It sure helps when you’re trying to decide on a product.
After watching your myth busting videos, I'd like to have your opinion on a scope I have been wanting I am looking at the Athlon Ares etr 4.5-30x56. Is there a better scope at that same price? It's going on my Tikka tac a1 in 6.5cm which is bare and has not been shot yet. This will be my first attempt at 150+ and beyond yards shooting steel on family land.
This is Mike. I would not hesitate going with an Athlon. The Arken scope is ok they are just overrepresented, and people buy them expecting more than they are. The Athlon Arises line of scopes are great. Thr Helos l8ne is good too. The Helos is more comparable to the Arken but are better madr. As the price reflects. I hope this helps.
Lol. What video did you watch? We won 1st and the Saw probably shot the highest score in the whole club including open. 399 27x is hard to beat. Thanks for watching

Awesome, great job! 600 yards with a 5" 10 ring?
The X is 3 inches. The 10 is 6 inches. Thanks for watching

F-Class is shot in the prone position, why are you shooting off a bench???
Some match directors will make exceptions for certain reasons (back issues, knees etc.) But yes F class is prone.
