I like the video Mike, nice rifles bud. Edit - I am the guy shooting crappy ammo thru my Vudoo. I pay about 3.50 a box and shot 9k rounds last year thru it. I bought a cheap (400 bucks) light weight 223 that shoots sub moa groups if I do my part at 100 yds but the pencil barrel heats up fast, I patch after every round use a jerry-rigged a barrel cooler made from some neoprene tube and a small air pump (on the 223)
I’m in the market for a precision 22 scope. So you recommend the etr? I was also looking at Burris xtr iii illuminated, Athlon Cronus, and pst gen 2. Anything I’m missing? Cool video by the way. I’ve always discounted a .223 bolt gun. Just get something bigger. You made a very good argument for owning one.
It looks like the scopes you listed would be my top picks. I bought a Leica Prs Prb from a friend, good glass is worth it, I wanted to be different. Any you listed would be fine, I have not looked thru the Burris but have the other two, Athlon scopes haven't let me down
The Atlon Ares and the Cronos are VERY good for the money! I suggest trying to look at as many that fit your needs. Glass is subjective and most people lean towards German glass or higher end Japanese glass. Do your research and just food for thought, The Aries ETR is the ONLY scope that will compete with scopes that are made is Japan! It has been the top dog for a while!!😬😬😬
@@pantherhollow5290 That is exactly what I needed to know about the etr. Thank you! I’m sold for rimfire. I like Japanese scopes too but I’m not sure it’s needed for rimfire.
@@pantherhollow5290 I don’t know what he calls you. I think I remember finding your channel because you challenged him to some kind of contest. He lives in Texas and many of them resort to name calling to compensate for something.
@@Charles_ONeal LOL... Thats funny... Well I am from the SHOWME state, and we try to keep name calling to a minimal because sometimes that leads to fist to cuff.. lol.. or at least it used to... any more you might just get a piece of lead... How times have changed... have a good one man..
Looked like a fun video to make. Super hot out haha
