I got this update on 12 January 2024 in watch 4 classic lte 46mm working fine. Thanks Samsung for bring this update in India

Do you know if this update is going to be in the US? The ECG has been available here since the release of Galaxy Watch 6, but still no bp😒
Not likely soon. The US says it's not reliable enough. You can side load the OS though to get it to work. Just do a little searching.
Personally, I don't think it's worth it.
Samsung clearly mentions that BP and ECG can not be used for medical purposes however ECG can track irregular heart beats & BP measurement is also may be fine to some extent, which may be useful for some people, after 3 years samsung got the approvals here in India for both BP and ECG, Not sure about US
I'm sure the Fraud and Deceit Administration won't let this through. Not until Samsung matches the funding of medical equipment and insurance companies.

Watch bought from India updated and got an apps.
However phone bought abroad, so Samsung health app not supported in phone. Hence unable to open health app in phone.
