I agree with you, despite the snide comment above.
One can understand a word here or there, like "tristes queixunes" and "sonhadora e bela", but most is mush, alla Sutherland.
The funny thing is that the few words one can hear, are actually pronounced pretty well.
So it really seems to be a question of enunciation rather than pronunciation.
In other words, someone like you, must have helped her.
But maybe she was shy about oronouncing clearly, preferring to obfuscate.
Apart from that, as is obvious to all, the singing is outstanding!

Now…gorgeous sound, beautiful phrasing and all that. One of the great singers around today (and amazing to watch in recital) BUT who coached her Portuguese?? I can’t understand a word (and I know the lyrics by heart). I do hope someone helps her with that next time (I would be uberhappy to do it for free!)
I'm Brazilian, not a specialist in singing, but I could understand the words. And I think, based on the way she pronounces the words, most of Brazilians used to listen to classical singing can understand. Of course her pronunciation is not outstanding, but is far from incomprehensible. Very curious that a professional in the field who knows the lyrics by heart wasn't able to understand a word hahahaha!
