Well this video and „Why I Keep Making Videos Nobody Watches“ ended up in my recommendations. So it seems like you’re doing something right. Best of luck to you.
I've seen a few of these kind of videos recently ("kid with a below average camera and a dream", as I like to call it), today decided to check one out, and it happened to be yours on my recommendation. It was more or less what I expected it to be, which good for you, no clickbait! That said, I do wonder: what exactly is the point of the channel, and what do you bring to the table? You've stated yourself that your main goal is (relatively) at least some money/success. Fair enough. But YT is a very unreliable, ever changing machine. You said you know what doesn't work, yet "authentic YT channels" were mostly ignored for the last 10 years or so, in favor of mass-producing, high quality production, big channels. However, now the pendulum has swung back and people are enjoying smaller scale, amateur content again. Considering this, I wonder what's your mindset/gameplan going into this, because it seems you're betting the rest of your youth on a cynical platform (that chews you and spits you out), based on the title. Don't mean to discourage, just hoping to understand you.
Im turned 24 last month and most of the people I know, be it friends or acquaintances who are around our age are lost in life right now. I have plenty of interests, few of them can lead to a financially stable life, but I will keep pursuing them because without them I'd be even more lost myself. I respect, and am proud, of your dedication to this. Keep following your dream.
At 24, your still have your entire life left ahead of you. Even in case TH-cam won't work out again, there's still many things left to hope for. Sometimes it can just take a while to find out what these are. Some people might even spend the majority of their lifes searching for these things, but I believe it's always worth hanging in there! I've definitely met people in life who've had career changes at ages much higher than this who are super happy with their new lives. I believe it's never too late for this! Of course sometimes the pressure that's on us can feel super high and we might be in a hurry to find something quickly. It's easiest when there's people who can offer their support, but unfortunately some people don't have friends and family who they can rely on, so I fully understand if things feel hopeless to some people. I hope things are different for you and that you have some people who have your back if things don't work out, and in any case, if TH-cam is the thing that brings you joy and you like doing, I hope this time everything will work out for you! 🙏
TH-cam is not your last hope. There are lots of career paths out there, even outside of online work. I'm 31 years old and I'm still trying new things. Your life is far from over. Don't stop pursuing what you love to do. If you really do love TH-cam, or just creating videos in general, you will get there, I promise.
yeah, nah. I dropped out of the rat race and began hopping trains about a year or so ago while living like a vagrant/drifter at just 25 Work a few ranch hand jobs in some places in the midwest before I move to the next place after I have enough money to travel for a few weeks before doing the same or experiencing something else in the new state I arrive. Lots of adventures and stories worth telling. I might start recording the adventures to make a story out of them just for the mere passion of it. Not for royalty gain or anything, because I honestly prefer the inconsistent upload schedule I may end up having lol. Anyways, to all the youngsters reading this; You can just opt out, but it won't be an easy route. My recommendation is to do what you know you're good at and start from there.
25 here, even everything seems to fall appart, everything doesn't seem like will work out. never give up. Do what your heart loves, what you love doing and don't give up beause one day, one day it will work out. We just have to work for it, we will get there. Stay strong
I subbed! I hope you find what you are looking for. The journey is the destination. I know it might not seem like it but you are sooo young! Success is not what we are taught it is.
At 24 your life has just begun. Out of grade school. Early years of possibly having a 9-5 job. Yes, I know social anxiety can be tough. A very difficult struggle to deal with. I too have social anxiety, but I know we all have it at different levels. What I would suggest is to seek employment somewhere that you don't deal with customers and very few people. My early jobs all dealt with back room kind of work, such as unloading trucks at a retail store. Prepping the merchandise for going to the sales floor. This meant the people I interacted with were my manager, the scheduling manager, and a handful or other employees also working the same area. This was tough at first, but it became manageable for me. Not suggesting you follow this same work, but it is something to consider or looking into something similar. While I fully support the thought of making money online via TH-cam or other such media, jumping right into it can be a struggle as well. Which is why I'd suggest getting a "normal job" and do TH-cam on the side. Once your TH-cam grows to the point of funding your life style, only then CONSIDER dropping the "normal job". Also try to not think so much about the numbers when it comes to content creation. Sure, more numbers mean more pay, but it can also lead to early burnout. One thing people on Twitch suggest to new streamers is to never look at even the viewer count. It'll lead to burnout, since the viewership will be low for a while. You also want to be making content that you yourself would watch. Do you find yourself interesting and/or entertaining? Would you watch your own content? Not everyone is born to be an entertainer. Since you want to get into TH-cam stuff, that means video editing, which means possible work with others who do make TH-cam or even Twitch content. People seeking a video editor. I know this wasn't something you or other content creators want to hear, but going from school right into content creation is not an easy move and very rarely do people hit big instantly. Making fun of someone for trying something is pretty sad. Try all the things. Do it all. Find what works for you and what doesn't. You seem kind, which can be rare these days. Truly hope you keep that kindness, but also remember to not let people walk on you because of it.
Hi, i just want to told you your wrong, you didn’t fail everything, you have succed but it’s just not in the way you have expected, you maybe not become a huge youtuber but you have find enough courage for fight you anxiety and post your video, i think you can be really proud of you cause even if you didn’t have succeed in the goal you have wanted, your courage make you stronger and im sure than one day you gonna beat all your goal. I hope my comment can help you to feel a bit better and i hope than we maybe gonna be friends one day cause i think we can really help each other to feel better, i thik i am really like you, i have always imagine launch my own buissness but i have never find enough courage for really do it, i think we maybe can try to make a collaboration together in the future For try to beat our goal together. I hope you gonna understand my english cause im not a native speaker so it can be a little wrong sommetime.
These past five months, you earned a little over one hundred thousand subscribers. That may possibly be enough to monetize your videos, and earn a partnership with TH-cam.
I've had social anxiety for over 35yrs and only failure after failure... My friends and family pretty much disowning me because of it. It sucks, I know... but it gets better, NEVER GIVE UP.
girly am relly hope ur okii, am suffering from alot of mental disabilities like ocd, touretts, ptsd, and alot more, its not fun, at, all, but am love myself, so, SO, much, and u should to, bc, u going through all of this and simply still existing is more then an accomplishment, am dont know if ur gonna know how to read thish bc thish is just how am type but am hope ur okii girly, ur amazing!!!
Girl, you're 24-you’ve got time. You may have failed many times, but believe me, it's not you. Don’t sell yourself short; keep trying. If anything, all those 'successful' people are either lucky bastards or ones who have failed more times than you’ve ever tried. Keep at it, and yes, you're naturally going to fail a lot-but that's just part of the process. Life will hit you hard, but you’ll have to get back up, and you’ll probably get there. Just probably. But if you give up now, that's when it’s truly over-a guaranteed failure. Keep pushing, and best of luck to you.
1: Don't appeal for pity 2: Be more confident and resolved. 3: Accept that content creation is very much luck based as much as it is talent based. I wish you well on your journey. remain fearless before the storm- you got this
You are enslaving yourself. The workplace teaches you how to interact and work together as a team, and even develop friends. You don't have to work for the man forever of course, but human interaction is vital.
how are you in a position where you can choose to not make a living? you live with your parents? both of them? how did they react when you told them you were quitting your last job and don't intend to look for another one? do they try to encourage you to look for another one? do they accept your choice and limitations? do they make you feel like a burden? do they mostly ignore you? i don't expect you to answer any of that but i think it's the part of your story that would be the most interesting and relevant to share.
In God's eyes, you are not a falure, you are his child that is made in his image. I pray for everyone here turns their lives around, learn about Jesus, and get saved by accepting him into your heart, Amen 🙏. God loves us, has a plan for us, and is always with us, and to him... you are everything; So please accept him into your heart before it's too late, and please don't give up hope kind stranger.
Maybe you can get a job making money offline, doing something you like to do. I'm also a failure forced to work in a factory and I don't see much of a way to even afford living and transportation costs, I'm just trying to take it a day at a time. The people in the town I'm in are low class and the University here isn't prestigious, also very low class. Wish I'd never attended that particular university for a couple of years, they don't even offer any good programs. I wish I could have attended Yale, but didn't know that's what I wanted at the time, Yale Psychology is second to none.
there's only one path ahead: move forward, about the social anxiety what about trying meditation? first it will be 1 minute, then 2 then 4 etc. any solution is always inside onself
Let me tell you the story of a friend of mine. She was exactly like you and like all the people who believed that work is shit in general... always doing jobs like call centers or waitressing. During COVID, I told her to take an online course. She said she had no interest in anything. After some discussion, she ended up finding a one-year online biology license (we decided on this because I knew she watches a TON of Discovery Channel animal documentaries). You know what? She fucking loved it. After her graduation, she sent out several CVs, thinking she would end up with nothing (a one-year biology license). After COVID, she found a short-term mission in a lab. From there, she met someone who introduced her to people leading a program to save some turtle species. Now, she is permanently based in La Réunion, where she works in a turtle rescue and study scientific program. So YES, SHE IS WORKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE, but in a field she likes and where she feels she has an important responsibility, with cool people. And you know what? She works a lot of overtime without declaring it because she loves her job. She falls asleep thinking about it and wakes up full of motivation. Moreover, it has allowed her to go boating and live experiences she could never have imagined. I often notice that sad people are those who persist in a path that doesn’t suit them, simply because they haven’t had the chance to become aware of other universes of possibility. Do you think the voice actor going to the studio hates it? Does the architect working on the project they’ve always dreamed of hate it? Do you think the actor you see in your film goes to the set hoping it’s over quickly? What about the doctor entering their office to see a patient? Or even myself, the lighting technician going on tour with concerts and shows, or my friend who have an informatic Virtual reality stuff job he enjoy and really like ? "I decided to never be a slave for someone else"-100% of people saying this have only experienced the bad side of having a job and think it’s a boring, slavery-like thing. The day you find a job you like, the day you’ll say, "Someone pays me to do something I like," it will change everything. A lot of people think freedom is building a business like dropshipping. They end up doing something they don’t like for the sake of freedom and not being a slave... but unfortunately, you may not find happiness like that.
This video just popped into my feed. I subscribed. I've seen and subbed to more than a few channels, and watched them post for about a month and then poof. They disappeared. If this is what you want to do, the only advice is don't give up quickly. It'll take time. Maybe put up links to your other channels or post your old videos. I know I'm curious what they were. 😊 You have the voice for ASMR. I have no idea if you can make money off it, but you can try. Maybe make a dedicated playlist? Adult work will follow you your whole life. So dOn't Fall down that rabbit hole. No OF. Stuff like that will always be there. FWIW, I don't care if someone does it--it's legitimate work, but most people don't make a lot from it. As old as this vid is, I'm pretty sure I'm writing all this and no one will read it. Good luck.
TH-cam is definitely not your last hope, but, if you enjoy making videos, then good luck with it. I hope you succeed. One thing I'd prefer is for you to get rid of all the filters (voice, face, etc.), and show your true self. Other than that, good luck.
At 67 the most important lesson I've learned is NEVER GIVE UP..... NEVER SURRENDER. I'm not saying it's easy to do. Actually , at times it's really hard. I've failed at countless things including relationships. So many times.I've said to myself why bother. Why put all this time , energy , emotion , etc into something that's gonna fail. Failing is a matter of perspective. You may not have achieved the desired goal but turn it into a teaching/learning moment. Just saying.
go look in the mirror right now and tell yourself how beautiful and dope you are inside and out. tell yourself the truth. that you are not a failure and that the wait is turning out to be one of the biggest blessings in your life so far because it gave you time to prepare for what's to come. Congratulations on passing 1k subscribers btw and above that building the courage to get out of your comfort zone and post this video, a lot of people want to post content on social media but the majority don't for various reasons. please read this again if you need to and actually do it, like how you made this video and actually posted it; your amazing and God loves you 💙🪽
everything you hear about love stems from the toxicity of social media. love is not something everyone has the same way, love comes from different regions of the mind. you dont need to be with someone that doesnt give you the time and energy to show you that they care. if someone cant give you love then you dont need to give them more energy than they cant even show you divided by 20. dont let other people control whether or not you can believe in love. everyone deserves love, its the person that show you that you do that matters. love doesnt have to be where you are with someone for the rest of your life, love is something that sparks from two souls destined to meet at an unscheduled time. you shouldnt look for love, let it come to you (i know a lot of people say that but its true). thats what im doing, letting love come to me even if i want someone to love me, because otherwise itll destroy you if you long for someone so much and they dont want you back, just let them move on because otherwise, youll end up just like the rest of the people on social media that spread negativity when it comes to love. you are beautiful, kind, and shouldnt be treated this way, you dont deserve that. you deserve love, the kind of love that is unconditional. be yourself and if people dont want that then so what, you dont need them in your life. to everyone that reads this, i love yall, and you deserve love.
I am 24 and my life is over. Please try to read a book or educate yourself. Start with average lifespan of human. Its very sad if youtube is your "last hope" as someone who hardly lived 50% of their life. But I wish the best to you, try to make it work, that is what we all do.
Look through all of recorded history to those who achieved greatness and you'll find millions who did so after the age of 50. You still have time. Read an old book titled "Pushing to the Front" by Orison Swett Marden; it might just change your outlook on life. It did for me.

If you really do love TH-cam, or just creating videos in general, you will get there, I promise.
yeah, nah. I dropped out of the rat race and began hopping trains about a year or so ago while living like a vagrant/drifter at just 25
Work a few ranch hand jobs in some places in the midwest before I move to the next place after I have enough money to travel for a few weeks before doing the same or experiencing something else in the new state I arrive.
I’m proud of you
24 is young man, ur gonna be fine
i really really hope you succeed!
You got this!
25 here, even everything seems to fall appart, everything doesn't seem like will work out. never give up. Do what your heart loves, what you love doing and don't give up beause one day, one day it will work out. We just have to work for it, we will get there. Stay strong
good luck, you got this!! it's only the beginning for you, TRUST ME💖💖✨
Wow Her voice is so calm, it's like being surrounded by nature!
We learn a lot from failure, potentially; success, not so much
I hope you can find something you enjoy and can be successful in

These past five months, you earned a little over one hundred thousand subscribers. That may possibly be enough to monetize your videos, and earn a partnership with TH-cam.
I've had social anxiety for over 35yrs and only failure after failure... My friends and family pretty much disowning me because of it. It sucks, I know... but it gets better, NEVER GIVE UP.
i hope you feel better now. Dont give yourself up. Everything is gonna be okay💖
Hope your doing well. Good luck.
For what it's worth, I'm in the same boat...
:)
I hope someday I'll come back to see this comment after you've become successful. I subscribed and joined you on your journey. Best of Luck

Make videos watching Brazilian videos, Brazilians will become very attached to you and you will gain fans, as a Brazilian I confirm this.❤
Thank you so much for spending your precious time with me ❤️❤️❤️ is there any Brazilian creator that you would recommend?
it's okay to feel like failure. success is imaginary from others perspective. don't be hard on yourself, trust yourself. time heals everything.
Keep on moving, girl. You'll find your place
1: Don't appeal for pity
2: Be more confident and resolved.
3: Accept that content creation is very much luck based as much as it is talent based.
I wish you well on your journey.
remain fearless before the storm-
you got this
Even if everything doesn't amount to millions. If even a single person can relate, that's gotta count for something.
I feel you
Give yourself room to breath, 24 is just a baby. You have plenty of time, just don't take it for granted.♥
youd make good horror videos with this setup/vibe
You're young, haven't even lived half your life yet potentially. Be patient and openminded.
What is your goal? Where do you want to end up?
This video just popped into my feed. I subscribed.
I've seen and subbed to more than a few channels, and watched them post for about a month and then poof. They disappeared.
If this is what you want to do, the only advice is don't give up quickly. It'll take time. Maybe put up links to your other channels or post your old videos. I know I'm curious what they were. 😊
You have the voice for ASMR.
Youll have lots of hopes in the future, youtube wont be your last! But that doesnt mean you cant throw yourself into it all the same
I am 24 and my life is over.
You are absolutely right! Thank you so much for the advice ❤️ i will check out that book.
you can't be at 24. Do somethng you love and you'll succeed!
thank you for the kind words!
When a girl is talking like a cute shy little teen girl in a exagereted way it means " I need a sugar daddy"

i can help
You're very pretty. What's your ethnicity?
🥷🙏💜
well.... do whatever you want but please dont join the adult industry or OF
keep up the great work on here
Yeah no, i will be only sane person in the comments and say you are gonna fail again. "I tried drop shipping, i tried freelance" just cuz u couldn't make easy money now you think u failed in life and ur life is over or some shit??¿.
Not gonna offer advice or anything cuz some people don't deserve advice, all ill say is stop being a victim, ppl got it much more worse than you, not saying that they are hungry so you should go hungry, just saying that objectively u are just crying about nothing.
Yeah youtube isnt steady unless you have like a million subscribers and have something to sell.
